Came in to trade-in/upgrade my wife's phone. Jacob took great care of us, including a promotion we didn't know was available that saves us money! He even changed our plan, saving us money there too. Great experience

Don’t bother the guy “working” here… Highly recommended bypassing Darius and this stores services. Go to the corporate store or Tmobile for that matter. Darius def living up to his other 1 star ratings. Maybe Gregg is better???

We could never in good conscience recommend someone going to this store. While the salesperson originally comes across as very knowledgeable, we were sorely disappointed in his lack of character as he attempted to rob us of the trade in offer he promised. In an age old bait and switch attempt, he tried double talking, intimidation and threats. Saying he had told us that there was a $70 charge to help set up a new phone (sorry, but he didn't), and being exceptionally rude when we balked at the amount, stating "why don't you do it yourself then if you're so good." When quietly conversing with my husband, we were summarily dismissed because we were "talking over him." We were shocked by such an immature outburst and an overall lack of professionalism! Lastly we were told that we had 14 days to turn my original phone in in order to get the trade offer of a free new phone, but when it came time to do that, he denied that he had made such a promise. So he's either a total liar or he has a very faulty memory.Funny how these things work. We had spoken to an employee at another location who had NOOO PROBLEM seeing that not only had he put in the order for the trade, but he had also canceled it. ? Who behaves like this in a professional setting!!? And now tells us he is unwilling to take the phone back.Anyone that feels the need to be deceptive in order to maintain decorum, is not the kind of person, or company that we can get behind.This particular person is so highly impressed with himself, that he seems to have forgotten that without excellent customer service you may not get far in this world.The end of the story:We went to another location who VERY easily saw the deal on their screen and were professional, helpful and very happy to process it for us.The moral of the story:Kindness, truth and having good character always wins.RUN from this store and go to a real Verizon corporate office where such attitudes and behavior would never be tolerated.

I went to see what was going on with my cellular connection and plan. I am unsure who the worker was, but he was the opposite of helpful. Completely dismissed me and told me he didn’t have the tools to help. I asked to show him what was going on with my phone and he acted like that would have been pointless and told me to call tech support. A friends husband who works at a different location could easily help me figure out what was wrong and said it could have been done in store. I needed my phone fixed and my trip was far from a 5 star experience.

I cannot remember a time when I have encountered a Customer Service rep anywhere who was as dismissive as Darius this evening.I was unaware that when we arrived at 7:40pm they were 20 minutes away from closing. He promptly let me know, also informed me it was too late to run my credit, that he couldn't do anything about my daughters phone which has a SIM card issue, and quickly quoted me $80 per line plus cost of phones to start nee lines. It was incredibly apparent he had no interest in offering any actual help so I asked his name. As we left he said I could grab a card and his name was Darius if I wanted to file a complain.We drove to Verizon on Oyster point and were immediately informed that they can help with my daughters phone, and would be glad to answer all of our questions and provide a quote. I wish we had come here first. I was also made aware that the Yorktown location we went to is a 3rd Party distributor so they function like an independent business. Makes a lot of sense. I am honestly still appalled at how we were so quickly dismissed.Skip the Verizon Authorized Retailer at 8135 George Washington Highway in Yorktown and head to the Verizon at 12227 Jefferson Avenue, where the employees are super helpful!
