Based off a phone interaction, I truly doubt this place would care for your pet at all. After being told over the phone the only doctor is in surgery and they weren’t even taking admissions ( which is an issue in it’s self, this is literally the emergency room ) my fiancé just asked a few questions about cost and options the staff followed up with “ well then your dog is just going to die on your floor and that’s not very nice to your dog “. That is an absolutely DISGUSTING thing to say to someone who is actively trying to find help to prevent their pets life ending and I would be horrified to put my trust in people like those.

Everyone I interacted with here was very empathic and made a sad necessity as easy and fast as possible.

Waited 6 hours and weren’t even seen. They prioritized other pets above ours that seemed healthy and alert (like a pittie who had eaten pork…). Our dog was pooping straight blood (in the waiting lobby, even). They also brought in a 14 yr old yorkie with wheezy breathing—like, sorry to say it but the dog is 14…. We asked that someone do a fecal test for us to confirm parasite. They said they didn’t have anyone available that whole time. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have done a quick exam and short fecal test and send us on our way with antibiotics—ESPECIALLY if the fecal came back positive. I’d say the practiced negligence by not working in our pet. I want to say they had less than 10 dogs seen in the time we were there.

The staff here are AMAZING!! So kind and empathetic. I don’t know why the reviews aren’t better. You know the pricing is always higher because it’s an emergency vet, but to me the pricing is fair and much less than I expected. I hope you never have an emergency with your fur baby, but if you do, the staff here are very kind

My son wrote about the worst service and non care he has ever had to deal with. Luckily Jake didn't die. Because he recieved no care for about 8 hrs, they only seemed interested in the money and nothing else. See picture!!!!

Family took dog in on Saturday with swollen leg, trouble breathing, and no signs of scratches/bite/infection/redness on the swollen leg. Prescribed pain meds and sent them home. Took her back Thursday with abdomen swollen along with swollen leg. Abdomen was filled with pee. Why weren’t tests done on Saturday? Isn’t a swollen leg, if no other injuries are present, a sign of kidney/liver/heart failure? Ridiculous and will not be back here. As if on Saturday they were too busy to properly treat. RIP Sophie.

Had late evening emergency and all the others were closed or rude when you called because of the over capacity. Got everything straight and back out the door good as new.

If I could rate this a negative 10 I would. Take you pet here if you hate them. I have a 8 week old puppy who my daughter was lied to and told she was 8 weeks when she got her4 weeks ago. So she didn’t spend enough time with mom to nurse as long as she should have. That’s no fault of anyone involved in this. My daughter is 18 and so is the child who gave her the dog. We ended up here after our puppy woke up with her head completely swollen on thanksgiving morning. I called many clinics and hospital and they were the only answer we got. They printed a picture and told me she had puppy strangles s as of they gave her IV fluids and some food. The food I believe because I saw the can and they gave us the remainder. Now the treatment for strangles is steroids and antibiotics for lesions. Well they gave us the prescription for steroids but wouldn’t give antibiotics because the no bumps were present( we found them on her paws when we got home upon looking for them they were very evident). When I called back the exact same day to get the prescription I was told she has to come in after have left there literal hours ago for a new visit. I told them no I paid for treatment already you didn’t follow threw on fully treating as you were paid to do. Then I asked if there was something liquid I could give my puppy to help kee her nutrition up while she’s sick because of no appetite and vomiting there response was hospitalization. Also I forgot to mention they gave me a bill for treatment with two separate prices and asked which one did I want. Like what the heck!!!! I want you to treat her then tell me the price. The bill was $100 difference for “high end care” but the vet nor her assistant could explain or answer me on what high end care meant. To say the least of what could be said these people hate animals

If I could give 5 negative stars I would! This place ought to get shut down! My cat was taken there because he suffered some sort of catastrophic injury. The staff there demanded we pay $6000 for the surgery or put him down. They attempted to extort us by saying if we left (to get 2nd opinion) they would report us to animal control for abuse! We left anyway after telling them where they can go! Hilton Animal Hospital took my little guy in and kept him over night. Sadly though, he couldn't be saved! Unlike the jerks here, Hilton was caring, compassionate, and grieved with us. Eff you, Peninsula!

Never again will I go here. 900 something dollars. No answers and still had to take my cat 3 days later to be put down. 900 dollars for blood work, little bit of iv fluids and 2 cans of food. Never again! All about the money and not the patients.

The response is an Outright lie.Terrible experience. Rude and inept staff. We took our dog there because he ingested a piece of the couch cover fabric. Arrived at 8 a.m. and was told it would be a 6-8 hour wait based on the severity of the case. They acted like we were making up the issue and didn’t believe what we were saying. They finally checked him in and stated they would get to it as soon as possible. We received the call at 8:30 PM that the X-ray showed nothing and that we could come pick him up. The next morning we took him to a different (competent) vet and they had to perform emergency surgery to remove the fabric. Unless one of my animals life is in jeopardy and this is the only place open, we will not be going back.

Id like to Thank the whole staff for helping my mother and I through this tough time. Went here on the 6th of September cause my moms dog was acting very odd not eating and not using the bathroom. Turned out she was very ill and in a lot of pain. She was too old for surgery 14yrs old and no meds would help. Sadly we had to put her to sleep that night and were heartbroken. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the let us take all the time we needed to say our goodbyes to Angyl. Im thankful that they helped us through this hard time and ensured us that Angyl was in no more pain. We got a sweet card in the mail from them signed by all the staff which made us cry. It was very thoughtful of them. Now were waiting for a call to pick up her ashes

This place was great on a really rough day for our family. It was a Sunday morning and our ol' girl had a bad seizure. Went to this clinic and although they were EXTREMELY BUSY they showed us grace as we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved friend. Afterwards they sent a sympathy card along with her ashes in a beautiful wooden box. So thankful for the support from the great workers here on a tough day for us.

The environment here is hostile. In less than 30m of sitting in the waiting area a client made a comment saying “ she don’t want her cat to die “ and Chris at the reception desk is yelling at her saying I take offense to you saying that and was completely unprofessional, loud and argumentative. You would think she would just reassure the client of the wellbeing of her cat. They’re short staffed which is understandable but to be mean short and snappy and client that’s already under the stress and paying hundreds of dollars to be seen. I wouldn’t seen a deceased animal here. Tracy Clark (Vet) was over worked , snappy really short tempered and upset that I was confused and instead of helping me understand she told me “I already explained it to you” I had to tell her look I understand that y’all are understaffed but your being nasty and rude and I have waited patiently for three hours with my dog. She snapped out of it but I would never send anybody here! I am completely disgusted with their behavior and the hostile environment is not a good place to work at mentally or to bring a sick dog into that environment she jumped every time they yelled which caused me to have to walk my dog and sit in my truck because she was unsettled.

My first and only experience with this business was horrible. The tech that I interacted with had no compassion and came across rude. She rushed me while on the phone. After arriving and checking in, the tech comes out to tell me that there would be a 3 hour wait. My dog had blood coming from his bottom, which has never happened. She offered me a pad for him like that would aid in finding out what was going on with him. From there, I stated that I would go to a different clinic down the road. The tech then proceeds to try and tell me how to get there, and as I describe landmarks to ensure she’s speaking about the same place, she over-talked me and gave wrong directions. Glad I knew where I was going. I will not be returning to this location.
