Zach was so informative and helpful. I called at least 6 auto shops before speaking with him to inquire about a tire/wheel problem, he was the ONLY person to say “I don’t have availability today to fix the issue, but you can come up here and I’ll at least let you know if it’s safe to drive or not”. At that moment, I knew he was the right person to trust to look at and fix my SUV.

My wife took our vehicle to them because the AC compressor wasn’t working. She told them it wasn't working and advised them that the AC had been recently charged and that wasn't the issue. Her appointment was at 2PM. She waited 45 minutes for them to take the vehicle back to look at it and another 2:15 for them to recharge the AC and figure out the compressor wasn't working and needed to be replaced (go figure). It seems they added unnecessary work to the front end of the job in order to charge us for it. We'll be going elsewhere for service from now on.
Update to Respond to Owner
I rarely write reviews on companies and this wasn’t the first resort. I only wrote this after several issues of concern came up. I don’t keep my phone on me while I’m at work and don’t typically answer calls from numbers I’m not familiar with, but I’d be happy to speak with you about it. My wife did call and speak to someone at your shop though.
After the appointment, my wife was advised that the compressor would need to be replaced and that someone would contact her with a quote. The repair was scheduled for this past Wednesday at 0900. When Tuesday afternoon rolled around and she hadn’t received a call, she called your shop. No one relayed that the diagnostic fees would be credited towards the overall cost of the repairs. What was relayed on Tuesday was that it would be $800 for parts alone and, at some point, (verbatim) “No, honey, I told you we thought it was the compressor.” Huh?!? You don’t know what the issue is but you want to significantly overcharge us for a replacement part? I can get an OEM for half that. That’s the point at which my wife cancelled the “repair".
What I took away from that exchange is that you either have some really poor communication issues between your techs and the front office, some cultural issues, or a little bit of both.
I get that you have to pay your techs, I have friends and family members who are mechanics. What I don’t agree with is charging us for something it didn’t need, the guesswork diagnostics that were relayed to my wife, and then overcharging us for a part. To me, that’s not trending the right way.
Regardless, thanks for the reply and God bless you and yours.
08/19 UPDATE: I took it to Western Auto. It was a bad relay. They diagnosed and repaired in under 90-minutes and it only charged $150.

I cannot thank Leading Edge enough. From the moment I walked in, they eased my concerns and were honest about the solutions. Took their time to explain and accurately diagnose our Jeeps issues. Turns out, our previous diagnosis was severely incorrect and they fixed the issues not only within hours, they saved us thousands of dollars. Went in for an oil change - really easy to schedule (dropped it off at my convenience) and ready mid-day the same day. Very friendly when I paid. I will go back next time I need any car maintenance!

I am a new car owner and I wasn’t sure where to take my vehicle. I was suggested this business, from a friend. I was not disappointed. I brought my mini cooper in to get some minor things looked at and the crew was very helpful, friendly, and informative.

Seriously recommend this place. Bought my Mustang GT in with alignment and suspension issues that another place failed to properly address and they did a great job addressing and fixing all the problems I had with it. They worked around my schedule and did everything in a timely manner. They also worked with me getting the correct parts I needed. They’re helpful, patient, and for anybody in the military, they do provide military discounts. If you have problems with your car, I can’t recommend this place enough.

My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to Leading Edge Automotive for the past 4 years and we are always pleased with the service. From minor to major issues, we have always felt like they have been quick and forthright, never trying to upsell or make issues seem larger (or smaller!) than they actually are.
There have been multiple times where I drop by the shop with a minor issue looking for some advice and almost always someone has been able to come outside to take a quick look in the parking lot and give their opinion as to what the issue might be. If it’s a small issue, they’re happy to give advice on how I could troubleshoot further and possibly fix it on my own or schedule a time where I can drop off the vehicle for them to perform an in-depth inspection.
I plan to continue to use them as my main shop for all current and future vehicles that I own, they've absolutely earned a 5 star rating in my opinion!

Zach and Shane are the only two names that I can remember from this place however they are all great and honest people. My bmw is currently being serviced by them and while it’s been a frustrating experience they have really been knowledgeable and helpful in every way. I can’t wait to see the finish results. Was referred by a shop around the corner from them for an alignment on my lowrider pickup. The guys were super friendly and we able to fit me in on short notice. They were also able to fix my brakes after I messed up adjusting them. More than fair on the pricing and sorted out my old rusty truck super quick. Highly recommend this shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair
