If I could give 100 stars I would!! Leo is such an amazing person. My laptop keyboard stopped working several years ago (totally my fault for breaking it) and also had an issue with the fans constantly on. I had been dreading bringing it in, as the fan issue is a known issue with this, so I hadn't really used this nice laptop in like 8 years because of that. Leo and his team took a look, and I was blown away by his confidence that he could fix it.
A couple parts ordered, and as they worked their magic, they ended up not needing to replace everything they thought they did. Needless to say, the actual cost was much less than quoted!
Top notch customer service, too! Such nice people.
I'm thrilled to be writing this review on the laptop that I love again, finally!
Forget big box stores, and chains like Geek Squad. See Leo instead!!!!!

Leo, the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable in this field. He came highly recommended by friends and family members. He was able to fix my computer issue and return it to me faster than I expected. If you’re having computer trouble and live in the Hampton Roads area, this is definitely your guy!

Shoutout to HR Computer Gurus. My dads desktop got fried from a power spike, I got it to power up again, but it was held hostage to an MS Outlook login/password that didn't exist and we couldn't get it going (likely a hack job). They expressed that this was unusual, but figured out how to bypass it and he is up and running again. Excellent work, perfect results, extremely fair pricing, and ultimate customer service and professionalism. 100% recommend.

Leo was extremely helpful. He fixed a canon pro printer that had printer head problems along with a desktop gpu that wouldn't read external drives after a software update. He also installed a WiFi card since it didn't have one. Very fair priced for diagnostics and labor. Will go here again if I encounter any further computer/printer problems.

I took my wife's laptop in to Hampton Roads Computer Gurus thinking it needed a new screen. HRCG could have easily replaced it and charged me and I would have never known that it was only that the brightness had unknowingly been turned all the way down! HRCG determined this right away and explained it very simply, and insisted on no payment. You can be sure that when we do need a computer repair, we'll be taking it to Hampton Roads Computer Gurus.

Hampton Roads Computer Gurus is made up of such a genuine team who truly wants to help. Our company has worked with them over the years from installing and wiring purposes to computer diagnostics and another small projects. Fast replies to questions, very thorough of the work, and helped in every way possible. Communication was great as to answering emails and phone calls at different hours of the day. Also, they provide IT assistance to my other outside contractor. Couldn't be happier!

Got my computer in right away. They did diagnostic testing, ordered replacement parts, and made further recommendations for computer care. Additionally, they updated me throughout the whole process. Lastly, the pricing was very fair. I highly recommend them!

Brought my 3 year old desktop in when I corrupted the boot sector trying clone my old disk drive to a m.2 SSD. They called same day with a diagnostic and reasonable charge for repair. Total repair time took 3 days which was respectable. Had them reinstall Windows on the SSD and system boots in about 20 seconds now and feels like a new machine. No issues and all drivers/updates were installed. Highly recommend putting your trust in Computer Gurus, they are efficient, knowledgeable and pricing is about as good as it gets.

Had issue with very slow 8 year old laptop. They ran some diagnostics and replaced the hard-drive, cloned the old one and the laptop is now running like new. The charge was very reasonable as well as the time it took to get it fixed. They kept me informed during the whole process. Great job overall

They kept me updated with all the work needed and being done almost everyday. The work was hit with some slow downs and took longer then expected but was never in the dark about anything. Good job for a small business.

They provided excellent service & was able to get to my laptop repair in a pretty quick manner & didn’t feel I was over charged for what I needed to have done. Also they keep you in communication on any updates or other info. I will definitely use their services again if I have any issues with my laptop.
