I haven't been back to this vet since they misdiagnosed my cat and almost had me put him to sleep. He was sick and when they did an X-Ray they told me that his chest was full of fluid and he "probably" had cancer. They also had me pay to rush his bloodwork, but ended up not doing so (I never did get the results or refund) and I was out hundreds and hundreds of dollars and spent the next couple days preparing to have him put down, only for him to perk up and continue to thrive now almost 3 years later. They treated my pets well and were compassionate, but this massive error could've cost my boy his life had I not chosen to take him home and spend time with him. I switched vets because I simply couldn't trust them afterwards.

New kitten, first time vet visit. It was a wonderful experience and the staff were so loving and caring for our Vinny. They provided excellent information and allowed time for questions. Thank you Staff!

I had such a good experience boarding My quaker parrot at Grafton, ANIMAL HOSPITAL, in Yorktown. Tracey at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating in my ability to leave My parrot there. Felisha and Morgan (oh my or is it Madison ) the 2 care providers were excellent as well sending me pictures and notes of his well-being. He actually got his first report card that I have posted on my refrigerator. I am so relieved that he too had a good time while I was gone those four days.

I had always loved Grafton Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Neuhaus. Unfortunately, it became impossible to get an appointment, to reach anyone, to get responses. Sometimes it would be a week before a response, sometimes two days. They always want you to text, leave a message, and don't even bother with the "contact us" option through the app, you won't get a response. The last appointment I had made, they now required a $25 deposit in case of a no show. Not once had we ever missed an appointment. The final straw was when our green cheek conure was not feeling well, and I told the front desk she was not doing well. I moved up her appointment. However, I had to call over and over, leaving voice mail after voice mail. They finally picked up the phone, explained she was not doing well, and asked if Dr. Neuhaus had anything earlier. The best they could do was move the appointment up by three days. So now it was still going to be 5 days until she would be seen. By that Monday, it was critical. I started calling the office exactly at 7am. As usual, no one would pick up. Had to leave message after message. They did finally call, but wanted me to just drop our baby off, and they'd look at her in between appointments. She was critical, I told them this. Front staff seems to lack compassion and understanding as to what critical means. Truthfully, they seem to give the impression they are doing me a favor by even seeing my pet, and I should be grateful they are willing to schedule an appointment or work her in. Needless to say, we've left, found another vet with an office staff that has it together. I don't know what has changed at this office, but if they keep this up, it won't be there for long. So the only reason they got 2 stars is because of Dr. Neuhaus, who I will miss, but I won't miss the hassle of trying to get an appointment, or getting someone to respond.

I have been bringing my pack to GAH for nearly 18 years. The entire staff is awesome. We are always met with a friendly greeting and they show sincere care and interest regarding the welfare of their clients. When Archie had to be put down, the office closed and the entire staff was there with us…even Caroline (previous office manager) came to say goodbye to him. This meant the world to us further solidifying their dedication to their clients. I will say that I’m not easily trusting but I completely trust the GAH staff with Angie. When she’s there, I know she’s in good hands and I do not have to worry about her…thank you!

I paid 70 dollars, I went for a vaccine and since the doctor couldn't give it to me that day, they want to send me some tranquilizers so I can come back another day and pay again. In the end they didn't do anything to my dog and I ended up paying to see the employees' faces. I don't recommend it, they charge a lot and they will always find a way to get you to come back and pay again.

Today was my first time at the clinic, and I thought the vet was patient and kind to my pup, but the front desk experience was unprofessional. I arrived 30 minutes early, and she said to wait and would take me in around my appointment at 830. So my kiddos and I went to Dunkin’ Donuts, got a few things, and was going to stay in the car till 830. When I pulled up, it was around 817, and she was trying to call me inside. I pointed to my sandwich, and I said let me finish my sandwich, and I will be in before 830. She came out a second time to my window around 822 and said I needed to get inside the vet waiting. I told her that my appointment was at 8:30 and that I would be in once I was done with my sandwich, and she pretty much told me I needed to put my sandwich down and get inside the vet clinic because they were trying to get people in early so they can leave early. I looked at her with an OK expression, continued to finish my sandwich, and walked inside. It was such a weird experience to have someone tell me to put my food down before my scheduled appointment.

The interaction at this vet felt overly focused on sales. When I inquired about charges, I was deemed rude for asking direct questions. I ultimately sought care elsewhere and paid a quarter of the quoted price. Thankfully, the new vet identified the issue, but it was too late to save my pet. Had the initial vet diagnosed sooner, I might have been aware of my pet's limited time.

By proxy, my belief is the vet world should adopt a “Do no Harm” policy for their patients and owners. Gouging pet owners through poor diagnoses and delayed action is a sad way to do business with people who want the best for their four-legged family. Do Better.

Grafton Animal Hospital does such a good job taking care of my black-capped conure, Zorro. Besides being his excellent vets, providing regular checkups, nail trims, and er services for his mishaps, we have also boarded him there and he returns home happy and well-cared for.

I boarded Jasper there for the first time. I took a tour first and met the lead kennel tech and we discussed Jasper's needs. The morning I dropped him off she came out and got on the floor to meet him. I got his Camper card when I picked him up and he did very well for his first time. I was pleasantly surprised as he is a very nervous dog.
