About Gallery at York Hall

The Gallery at York Hall is a largish local artist shop and haven for art in a former courthouse on historic Main Street, just above the York River and up the hill from the beach. This big, interesting space features the creations of over 300 local artists, including quilts, paintings, photos, crafts, pottery, jewelry, fiber and fine art, books, and tourist knickknacks. Run by volunteers with proceeds going to local events and charities, it has no entry fee. There is plenty of parking or a free trolley. The Yorktown History Museum is in the basement.

    Google has posted wrong winter hours. Correct are: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10am to 1pm through March 2025.
