We loved our experience at Childtime. We had children in the infant and Toddler 1 room and were so thankful for the love and attention given to our children from all the staff. Obvious care for attention and development, great feedback and feeding schedule and behavior. I’ve only got positive things to say, and we are sad to be leaving.

I was apprehensive about my daughter attending. I couldn't have been more wrong. This place is amazing for developing children specifically social skills and academic learning.

Childtime has failed my child not once but twice. As a one year old he was bitten 6 times in a span of 2 months. "Intervention" was happening in the classroom, but my child still came home with bites that either broke the skin or left bruises for weeks. The center is short staffed and unable to provide additional supports. Now as a 2 year old my child is the one biting other children as a learned behavior. Again, the staff is unable to redirect the behavior because there are 24 kids and 2.75 adults. I say this because my child floats between the 1 and 2 year old rooms due to not enough staff for the legal limit. For the amount of money I am paying, the services do not reflect that value. The teachers are underpaid and short staff. This is a big corporation and it is failing its branches. They provide little support or funding. I say funding because if they paid their teachers better I am sure there would not be a shortage. If you can, find a daycare with a smaller class size or who are able to provide additional behavior supports.

This place IS NOT SAFE!!!! My son arrived with repeated bruises, bite marks (big) and other lesions! They failed to protect my son! They said there is another kid who bites! But it feels my son was physically abuse there.

We have had quite the experience with Childtime. Our son started going there when he was 4 months old. We felt very comfortable with the teachers and front staff. They were very personable and communicated very well with us throughout the day on how our sons day was going. All good things come to an end though only this time it crashed and burned. One day at the end of march, our son was picked up. When he was brought out of the classroom, there was a nasty bruise from his hairline to the bridge of his nose. The careless director Yvonne, told us that he bumped his head once when waking up from a nap. We quickly took him to his doctor to make sure there was no fractures or further injuries. The doctor was suspicious of their story, as were we. After scheduling a meeting with the director (Yvonne), she proceeded to tell us that “corporate” reviewed the footage from the classroom and what was documented on the incident report was true. She then began to question us as parent on whether our son just bruises easily. When we requested the footage for our own peace of mind, she refused to give that to us. When we asked who could, she said corporate yet refused to give us any information on who to contact. That is when we decided to get social services involved and the rest is history. Now that our case is closed and all the facts have been gathered by law enforcement and social services, I have felt that it is my duty as a parent to write this review. The lack of staff and training is the downfall of this corporation. Yvonne is a prime example of that. She handled herself unprofessional and shamelessly. None of my children will ever step foot into this daycare again. If you are considering this daycare, I highly suggest to look elsewhere. Do your research and take a look at this place on the Virginia social services website.

I have a lot to say about this center. If you are considering this center, look elsewhere. The staff and teachers here are rude and condescending. They have been careless about child injury numerous times. They do not understand that not every child is the same, and that some need extra help or extra understanding. The past year my sister has gone here she did not benefit at all (we only had her enrolled for this long because availability/long waitlists). They discouraged her from coming to her own pre-k graduation and said “she would not be able to handle it”. How can a child’s own teacher discourage them from coming to their own graduation? It’s very disheartening. My sister has some development issues (and is receiving help for them) which puts her at a different spot compared to her peers and instead of trying to understand her and work with her the staff gave up on her. I personally feel like there was clear child negligence and after reviewing Child Time on the Virginia Social Services website, there is present reoccurrence of this. This place is not friendly. We would not recommend this place to anyone.I would also like to note, even though Yvonne is not employed here anymore, it is important to share this experience we had with her. We were trying to get an in class evaluation for my sister in order to properly assess her development and receive the services needed. Yvonne blatantly ignored the emails the developmental center had sent her and made it very difficult for my sister to get evaluated. She eventually had gotten evaluation done though the way this was handled was very unprofessional. This further proves that the staff does not care for children who need extra help.

Amazing staff, and great hours. We don't trust any place else with our children than here. Only downside is that it's a little pricey

My name is Joe Clark, Today my wife and I pulled our children out of your so called child care. We have been disappointed numerous amounts of times and disrespected my Jessica Mills and Danielle Winn. We have witnessed a teacher abusing children via camera through our phones. And not to mention a teacher abusing our youngest child. He was bitten multiple times and nothing was done about it. Jessica's idea of controlling the situation was to put a hat in the boy to keep him from biting. It took my wife and I to call the District Manager to get this situation under control because Jessica and Danielle lack the mental fortitude to take control of the situation. The district manager knew nothing about these bites that had kept recurring. The last incident was when our youngest was outside with only a jacket, who is not even two yet. It was about low 30's, and yet they did not outfit him with the required clothing for out door play, which we provided. From a previous time, I was told before by Jessica Mills that if we didn't like what was going on, we could go ahead and leave. This is not anyone who I would trust spending thousands of dollars on a month to have mediocre care for innocent children who can not defend them selves or articulate accurately what happened in a incident. I will be posting this on any social media outlet to make people aware of this "schools" in ability to take responsibility for their actions. Not to mention when the District Manager reviewed the tapes one time. She witnessed more that the abuse taken on our child, but also on other children by the same teacher from earlier on in the day.

I cannot say how much I love Childtime! The teachers are amazing. The staff is super nice and responsive. My kids are excited to attend everyday and they are always learning something new. The school has taken so many measures to keep kids and families safe during this time! I recommend Childtime for anyone looking for outstanding care and a positive learning environment for their childfen!

Both of my children have been attending child time since they were in infant one. From the start we have always been in awe of the curriculum that they provide, even with infants. My children have been enrolled in the day care for almost three years. My daughter has learned so much in her time here. Money well spent. The teachers are so kind and caring and they go the extra mile for your children. I highly recommend!!However there parking lot really needs re paved! And the parking spaces re painted.

This place is made out to be the best, and providers are made to appear the most caring towards your child. I assumed since this facility partners with the watch me grow app. that they were comfortable with how they cared for your child. That was incorrect.I just recently filed a complain and the disposition came back substantiated. My complaint was filed after I observed one of the infant caregivers attempt to place my 4 month old in a sit me up pillow; my son cannot sit up on his own. My son fell forward on two separate occasions, the caregiver then used her hand and harshly shoved my sons head back. My son fell backwards, and she left him there screaming and crying. As a parent this broke my heart to see someone treat my child so badly. I was fortunate that he was not injured. In addition, the infant caregiver was apparently only given additional training and is allowed to continue working inside the infant room.My video was then sent up to the legal team because the caregiver was negligent and I was not able to view it without hiring a lawyer. The daycare immediately agreed to provide me with a refund check for the month.I am a police officer and was nervous about leaving my son anywhere! I thought this places was the best choice based off my research. Please, if you have your children here watch, and keep a close eye on them. I would not recommend this place to anyone

We have been trying to find the right fit for my 3y/o since we moved to town. She was at another day care center that was terrible for her, she would cry before we even got to the parking lot, and genuinely did not want to go.Since being at Childtime she has not only excelled socially and educationally, she loves coming to school!I cannot day enough about the staff. From the director down, each one of them genuinely care about my daughter and are consistently in the loop on how she is doing.Highly recommend.
