“This is a largish local artist shop in a former courthouse, so it’s a big, interesting space with LOTS of different local artist’s creations: quilts, paintings, photos, crafts, pottery, tourist knickknacks, books, postcards, more. Just up the hill from the Yorktown beach and waterfront. Run by volunteers, with proceeds going to local events and charities. No entry fee or tickets.”
“Love the artist gallery for Yorktown Arts Foundation. We made it a stop for years on our trips to VA. Sadly this is no longer their location. Hope they find a new one soon.”
“After the Harvest Festival, we checked out Auntie M's American Cottage, a gift shop that sells locally crafted gifts. This includes scented soaps, needle felting kits, fused glass ornaments, wind chimes, recycled wool flowers, picture frames, oyster ornaments, cork reindeers, mermaid bookmarks, children's books, prints, trinket dishes, cork leather bags, pottery, jewelry, coffee, soup mixes, and more. I ended up getting a nutcracker print on an oyster ornament and Virginia state shaped necklace!”
“I needed a very last minute engraving done on a Saturday, and Deb's was the only shop that was able to fulfill my request.Deb was super helpful with spitballing dome ideas to make it look even better, and was very courteous. Would recommend Debs 10 out of 10 times.”
