Everyone told me it would be a several thousand dollar repair. Took it to smoking guns diesel and he found it. It was just a clogged filter. Saved me so much money you wouldn’t believe. I would recommend them for all your diesel repairs. Professional family owned business.

I wish I had more work for them to do! Everything they have done has been outstanding! It's such a relief to have some major engine work done and everything works great now! No more worries! I'm from out of town and I might drive all the way back if I ever need anything done again. Thank you!??

We were pulling a trailer and broke down on 1-81 in Blacksburg, Virginia. I called the big Ford dealership in town and they wouldn't even look at it for two weeks. I called a tow truck who recommended Smokin Guns Performance 50 miles south. On arrival the owner, Aaron, immediately diagnosed the problem as an exploded fuel pump, common on the 6.7 diesel engine. We decided on installing a factory rebuilt motor. After a 3 month wait for the engine from Ford, I picked the truck up yesterday. It runs fantastically. Aaron is a true craftsman. He knows diesel inside out. I highly recommend Smokin Guns Performance and will definitely use them again if needed.

We broke down in Max Meadows towing our 5th wheel with our 2013 F350 diesel 8 hours from home. We got towed to I-81 Service Center, but they couldn’t diagnose the problem but did tow our RV to the Wytheville KOA. They suggested Smokin Guns which just happened to be down the road. Aaron diagnosed the issue right away.Unfortunately the extended warranty company we were dealing with sucked. Took me 6 weeks of headaches, calling them every day and being denied 5 times, before they covered 3/4 of the repair. Aaron kept the truck for four months while I sorted the warranty company out. He also offered to let us keep our 5th wheel in his lot. We didn’t need to because a friend came and towed us home.We were so fortunate to have found Aaron because he knows his stuff. April was also a pleasure to deal with. If we had to break down, glad it was here.Thank you again for making a horrible situation easier.Tyler & Arlene Harrington

Towing our LQ horse trailer north to Loudoun county and check engine light came on. Code showed a problem with wastegate valve on turbo. Everyone locally told us this place was best. Guy at the counter told me he had no idea what a wastegate was and that he was too busy ordering parts to help me. His great advice was “why didnt you take it to Ford?” Maybe i caught them on a bad day, but sure wouldnt ever go back or recommend this place.

These guys really helped me in a great time of need. Had a medium duty truck and car hauler trailer break down. Aaron gave me a safe place to hold down until we came up with a repair plan or a tow service. Wound up getting the truck towed but I extremely appreciate all the help and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again
