We had to send our little old man over the rainbow bridge. They took great care and explained what was happening and stayed with me while he passed on. I felt the love of animals they have and would love to have them care for all my furry babies

I was able to bring my dog in for surgery and Dr Truban isn't good regular vet. I talked to him on a Saturday and he said he could do it Monday. I took him on that Monday and surgery was performed. Dr Truban didn't have to do so since my dog isn't a regular patient of his. But he saved my dog's life. All the staff were very concerned and helpful. I cannot thank them enough for the service they provided. Then I got a call from Dr Truban a week later, asking how my dog was doing. I was completely surprised.

Dr. Truban and all the other doctors and staff are absolutely amazing. We have been going to them for years and have nothing but positive words! They are compassionate and treat your pet like their own. They explain everything and don’t do unnecessary items. They are simply the best, we drive an hour just for them!

Dr. Truban, Dr. Edelman and the support staff at Shenandoah Animal Hospital are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. I have not experienced the level of kindness and general customer service that all the staff consistently demonstrates in a very long time! This level of service has been demonstrated during years of appointments, phone calls and consultations regarding the care and treatment of my elderly cat and the ultimate very tough decision that follows. It's not just your pet that gets the first-rate care; the compassion and patience also extend to the pet's parent/s and all the emotions that goes along with caring for an elderly pet. I highly recommend establishing your pets at Shenandoah Animal Hospital for a lifetime of exceptional care.

They are very transparent with their good pricing, and provided excellent service to my cat. They saved his life. They answered all the questions I had. I could not have asked for a better experience from a vet. I will be taking all of my animals here from here on out. They are true examples how a vet should be. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Compassionate, caring people. My cat of 20 years needed to be euthanized. They gave me privacy, time alone with my little companion. They explained everything very thoughtfully. I used their cremation service, it was priced so that people could afford it. I brought my sweet kitty home in less than a week with a little clay paw print. If I should get a pet someday, I highly recommend Shenandoah Animal Hospital.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Truban and his tech MarI. They came to our house to do an in-home euthanasia and made a very difficult and emotional decision much easier. Their kindness and compassion is truly remarkable and I’m incredibly grateful for all they did for our family.

Long wait, place could use some upgrades walls need a nice coat of paint and flooring looked kind of dirty maybe they need to be updated not sure.

The vet got us in last minute as a new patient when we thought our indoor/outdoor cat might have broken a leg. We got an xray and it was determined that he had no break, but an abscess (likely from fighting) which can appear like a break. We were given a long lasting antibiotic and pain meds and were sent home where my cat has made an almost 100% turnaround (other than the wound site healing).All of the staff were super courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend for both urgent and long term care for your pets.

I cannot say enough about the care and compassion Dr. Truban has given our animals. So devastated when we lost our English Bulldog (Pooter) and our Pug (Roland). He was so kind. He takes amazing care of our French Bulldog (Bob) and we would not go anywhere else. Hands down, the best veterinary out there. Leigh Ann and Tony
