Dr. Truban, Dr. Edelman and the support staff at Shenandoah Animal Hospital are extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. I have not experienced the level of kindness and general customer service that all the staff consistently demonstrates in a very long time! This level of service has been demonstrated during years of appointments, phone calls and consultations regarding the care and treatment of my elderly cat and the ultimate very tough decision that follows. It's not just your pet that gets the first-rate care; the compassion and patience also extend to the pet's parent/s and all the emotions that goes along with caring for an elderly pet. I highly recommend establishing your pets at Shenandoah Animal Hospital for a lifetime of exceptional care.

We called this vet after our vet consistently kept dropping the ball on our dogs ear problem. They actually examined our dogs ear, did an analysis of the build up in her ear and determined she had two types of bacteria in her ear and prescribed a strong steroid and medicated Met wash. Within ONE day of receiving this medication and this medicated wash for her ear, she was no longer whimpering and the build up in her ear has almost subsided completely. I am so thankful my boyfriend convinced me to try another vetenarian, otherwise my dog would still be suffering. We will be using this vet for now on for all of our animals. I am so thankful for the Shenandoah Animal Hospital that actually took time to examine my dog and diagnose the problem.

Shenandoah Animal Hospital is my favorite vet in the area. The doctors are always available to answer questions and always try to work you in to be seen or they at least call you back to answer questions. The other vet in the area isn't always very accommodating. I've waited over a week before with the other vet in the area for a return call. I feel very wanted at Shenandoah Animal Hospital.

Shenandoah Animal Hospital in Woodstock VA is by far the most amazing Veterinarian clinic my husband and I have taken our pets to. The Veterinarians walk you through everything they are doing and comfort you. I am so grateful for their hard work and dedication to their job. I have feline leukemia cats and if my cats have a problem they quickly work us in and take extra good care of them as if it was their pets. Dr. Edelman is absolutely fantastic and amazing.

Dr.Edelman met us on a Sunday eve to see our dog. Unfortunately wasn't a good outcome but she was wonderful. Highly recommend always caring and friendly.

We are from out of town and I got an appointment for next morning. They talked to and pet my very nervous little dog, so he didn't have to be muzzled to express his glands. Even came outside to get him and bring him back out to me as I am elderly and don't go inside anywhere due to covid. Wonderful and kind. Five stars, and they earned every one in my book!

Called one morning that my dog wasn’t acting right, they got me right in that morning. They did his check up and the vet told me that she couldn’t hear his heart that it was faint and his pulse was irregular. She told me it would be best to put him down.

We recently adopted a large dog that isn't vet-friendly and were having a hard time finding a vet that would see him. The lady's here are absolutely amazing! It's evident that they love helping animals bc they let us make another appointment, lol. We are so grateful and definitely recommend them!

I bring all three of my cats here. They are amazing. And they love the animals. They care so much they let your animals have the fears that they have with no judgment. They talk to them and make them feel safe. For as long as they are around my cats will go here. Thank you for all the care you give all animals.

We use the Strasburg location. but I am so happy with the staff and Dr. it was my first experience at the vet with my first dog. they educated me, informed me in order to make the best decisions. my pup was so nervous, but they made him feel right at home. we will be forever clients as long as their doors remain open.

I've been using them for almost 30 years, Knowledgeable staff, wonderful vets and the best care for all stages of your animals lives. From neonatal care to old age issues. No one better in the area. Dr. Truban and his staff are simply the best!!!
