A great place to stay in this area. The aesthetics are of a modern design. Check in and check out is frictionless. The lounge area in the lobby is spacious with plenty of seating along with plenty of work spaces if needed. The complimentary breakfast is easy to get to and has good selection and is delicious. The staff is polite and professional. They are following current respiratory hygiene guidelines. Recommended.

I stayed for over three months on an extended stay, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The room was often left dirty and dusty. I had to call the front desk numerous times to report that housekeeping had not attended to my room. The vacuum cleaner was broken and needed parts for replacement, but the response was always to find excuses.
The management at this location is disorganized, and I encountered rude responses from the supposed regional manager. The breakfast served daily was nearly inedible, with almost expired yogurt and hard bagels wrapped in plastic. Additionally, we were discouraged from raising any complaints.
The pool heating system was broken all winter, with staff continuously stating they were waiting for parts to fix it. Written comments at the reception desk suggested that they try to hold the deposit amount for an extended period and find ways to absorb the whole amount.
I would advise staying away from this hotel. The only positive aspect is its location, which is close to Potomac Mills Mall. However, if you are expecting the standard Marriott service, this is not the place. The manager is rude and arrogant, and the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant cooks, do not speak English and seem unhappy to work there. The hotel appears to rely on refugees and temporary workers who are almost forced to be there.

If you want to be overcharged for your hotel stay, then this is the place for you. Rooms are nice and the location is great, but the staff is not helpful majority of the time there is no one at the desk to assist you. I ended up being charged double for my stay, which I was informed by the gm that the payment “should be returned to my card but she doesn’t know if it will be the full amount”. 2 weeks later and my money has yet to be returned to me, also another family member who stayed has had their credit card charged for an extra night a few days ago even though they checked out 2 weeks ago

Eric was excellent and very accommodating. I travel frequently and always critique the cleanliness of hotels but this one is very clean and has a light, fresh, welcoming aroma. I was very comfortable traveling alone here and will absolutely return. Deserving of more stars in my opinion.
Rooms: Clean and welcoming!
Noteworthy details: Eric was very accommodating and professional

I had the pleasure of working with Marcus B. and Eric A. recently, and I can't say enough positive things about their professionalism and friendliness. Marcus and Eric went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was exceptional.
From the moment I first interacted with them, I was impressed by their professionalism and appreciated their manager to brining them in. They are always prompt in responding to my inquiries and was incredibly knowledgeable about the subject matter. It was clear that they had a deep understanding of their job and was well-prepared to assist me with any questions or concerns I had.
What truly set Marcus and Eric apart were
their friendliness and approachability. Despite their expertise, they never came across as condescending or dismissive. They took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, providing clear explanations and guidance. They made me feel valued as a customer and I am very thankful.

Brand new property. Wish they had full-size kitchens with full-size stove and oven, but the two burner stovetop does its job.

If you’re looking to be robbed at checkin, here is the place to be. I came to checkin and the assistant manager tells me I should book with them because it’s cheaper. So I do that she cancel my 3rd party reservation just for them to STILL charge me $400. I should have known better when it took 1hr to check in! Then I specifically asked for a room with a tub and I bring my kids and our things inside and guess what? No tub! Horrible service!

I booked a room for my sister and I. I paid however the agency I used listed my sister's name first and mine not at all. They refused to let me check in even though I had the receipt with the corresponding reservation number. They insisted it must be my sister who does not have an ID. I was told it wasn't his problem (desk clerk Orlando) bc I used a reservation site. I contacted them and they contacted him and he still refused any type of customer service. So $151 on a non refundable room .. complete lack of customer service Marriott guess I'll be staying at the Hilton instead

We stayed for the grills, nicer ambiance, and to get closer proximity to a preschool and shopping compared to Residence Inn.Rooms: Nicer but smaller rooms than Residence Inn with no significant upgrade options.Safety: We saw police make multiple visits to the hotel during our five week stay in Aug-Sep. A half undressed man was regularly standing immediately adjacent to the property under a bus stop making my wife feel unsafe. A different completely naked man was also on the property one occasion my wife observed.Food & drinks: The grills regularly weren’t working properly and they had a less assorted breakfast.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean and breakfast was very good. However, they overcharged me for the room. When I booked it, I was sent a confirmation with one amount but the hotel charged a different amount at checkout saying that, "We are a franchise so we don't follow the Marriott pricing." That is shameful! Watch your statement for overcharges!

I booked my room through my Marriott account like I have for the last almost 20 years. This is the first time ever staying at a Marriott that I am overcharged twice. I prepaid my room at the rate Marriott gave and once I got there was charged an additional 5 dollars without letting me know. I was told at check in there would be a 60 dollar hold for incidentals that will fall off as long as I didn’t have any.I check out at 3am my last day and later receive 3 emails with the bill showing I have been charged an additional 11.96 with no reason. I call to speak to someone about it on Saturday. He was rude and said he’s aware but do not see where my card was charged. See if the charge goes through in a few days and call back. The charge does go through and I call back twice to speak to someone. They can’t tell me why I was charged extra to speak with the GM. I speak with her and she said we charge extra for using energy. She will research and get back to me after I send her my confirmation email. I did that. She decided to create another bill and list it energy fee for the amount I was overcharged dated for today. As much as everything cost these days that is dishonest and bad business and I would like that fee credited back to my card. I will never stay at this Marriott again.
