Slowest car wash in the world. You're also stuck in the line until you get there. Been here an hour and just want to leave. Cars behind be, cars ahead of me, and no way to pull out of the line because of the way they laid it out. If i knew it would be like this i would have just washed my car by hand at home - it would have been faster.

Don't use the restroom here ladies! BEWARE I asked the man behing the counter to use the restroom and where it is he said yes and show me where. I went right back to the restroom within view of him. So tell me why, knowing I'm there, he walks back and opens the damn door on me. Then proceeds to stare! I yelled occupied and he went away. IM SORRY THATS SO WRONG .

Very rude and condescending employees. I have heard them raise their voices when disagreeing with customers, even when it is the store's fault. Their machines are frequently broken and the store is very dirty. After going here three times and having a bad experience every time, I now completely avoid it.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received. Khan helped me with a western union transaction gone wrong. Not only did he accomplish what two Giant stores and a Walgreens could not, but he charged my dead iphone for me while I waited. Charming, helpful, funny. Thanks, Khan - you literally saved the day.

Displaces debit machine will charge your card even if you do not get any money out of it. It charged my card $15 and I got no money from it. Very shady and fraudulent place to stop.

I wouldn't consume beverages or foods in containers the employees need to keep clean. I recently went in the mini-market at this gas station for coffee & a snack to see if it could replace my weekend morning trips to the 7-11 across the street (turning right into gas station would save precious seconds from having to turn left into strip mall). "Ooh, they even have an iced coffee machine. Let's see if it is comparable to what I'm used to at sev." Grab a cup, add ice, and push button for vanilla iced coffee drink for one full second before I'm swarmed by a gang of fruit flies loitering in the area. They might have actually come from inside the drink nozzle. Toss everything in trash and continue turning left instead. I won't buy gas from people who run their business like that, serving contaminated products to people who are going to EAT AND DRINK that ish. It may sound harsh to boycott after one visit that may have been staffed by a bad employee or a day when someone forgot to use soap when cleaning (I am always willing to give people the benefit of a doubt), but the number of bugs in that swarm tells me it was unclean for much longer than is legal.

12 Dec 15 -0545 visit. I was happy with the cashiers costumer service. Not happy with the egg burrito that I purchased that melted to the wrapper and dry ham slice. Didn't return it because I had to go to work and was running late. Three stars is being nice!

Never go here. I went to get my gas filled today around 11:30 PM (about 30 min before writing this post) to use up my $10 gift card that I got for gas at Exxon. I tried using my card at the pump: said it was authorized, but would not let me get any gasoline, when I tried to pump it out. I tried sliding the card about 3 times, and none were successful. I tried a fourth time, but instead of sliding the card at the pump, I went inside. The guy at first was really nice, and he explained to me that I had to use the card inside, and it went through. When I got to the pump, it said $10 prepaid on my pump. I tried pumping the gas into my tank, but nothing came out. I looked up to see if the money was still there, it was... and I tried to pump.. but nothing came out. All of a sudden, the prepaid $10 was gone. I went inside to see if I could slide my card again, if the money was still in there, so I could get my gas. (Thinking that it just cancelled it, so the money wasn't used.) The guy in the store (on my receipt from the first time, it says Kiran), told me I could absolutely not see if I can use my card again to see if there was the $10 balance on the card still. I asked him if he was sure I couldn't check and see if I could pay through another card, but he refused to service me. He then decided to go and help another person, and not even try to help me in any way. I went online to check my balance on my card, and it was $0.00 :( I just lost a free $10... and I have no gas in my car now.

This place is trash. I went through the car wash the other day and thought that it would be fine. When I got out of the wash, there were still dirty streaks along my car. Thinking it must have been not used in a while, I asked the owner if it was like that. And he said "Oh yes, thats usually like that". Bothered, I just ignored his comment not trying to waste my time. I then used their vacuum to clean out my car and put in 4.50 worth of quarters into the machine. I then noticed the vacuum not suctioning well. I went to ask the Manager and he said "Thank you for letting me know, I will put a out of service sign". I asked him for a refund of 4.50 so I can put the money in the other side vacuum to see if it works and he said "No, that is not my problem". Lived in Centreville for 14 years. You surely lost a customer forever. Train your management. Surely, if I was the owner, I would do everything possible NOT to lose customers; Not MAKE them away.

DO NOT RISK YOUR CAR AT THIS CAR WASH! Early morning, Friday 3/22, I brought my new red car into the car wash. The brushes lashed out all over my car without any water. When the car came out, it was covered by thousands of new scratches. The owner was patronizing and refused to take any responsibility!! He insisted that the car wash was working fine. Then, to try to appease me, he gave me a coupon for a free wash and said I couldn't use it now. I had to use it later because the water was frozen. If he thought the car wash was fine, and he wasn't responsible for the scratches, why did he say this??? He said "Must be water spots on the car". No way! Water spots come out when you wash them. Not these! It'll cost me a lot of money to remove these "water spots!"

I used to be a faithful patron of Newgate Exxon until George (my Mini Cooper) and I got stuck in the car wash. I got stuck in the wash half way through the cycle and the garage door would not open. Soap was running down my windshield and people were honking. This was a first in my 3 years of coming to this location. I was afraid to get out of the car and risk being washed rather than George. Someone retrieved the attendant and he came into the bay yelling at George. He claimed that me and my "small" car broke his car wash and he told me to "Leave and never come back." I was stunned and told him that this had never happened to me in all the years I've been using this particular wash. It's a touch-free carwash and George has always played nice in other washes. George always waits his turn and doesn't even drop the soap. (Well except this one time at band camp.) I then asked why there was no final rinse or blow dry and the man then told us that this wash, "no longer offered it" and yelled at us to "GO NOW and DON'T COME BACK!" George and I have been banished but before I go here are some estimated totals I'd like to share: Estimated totals spent at this location. Gas spent per year= $2,000 +/- (multiply by 3 years) Car Wash 1x/week x 1 year= $520.00 3 years of gas $6,000.00 3 years weekly car wash $1560.00 Total Wasted to date: $7560.00 Potential Loss Per Year: $2,500.00 The fact that George is now a dirty car: Priceless For every thing else there's YOUR COMPETITION. Sincerely, George and Danny P.S. With all the Mini Coopers in Arlington and D.C. are there more broken washes? Must be an epidemic. Why should Yelpers avoid Newgate Exxon? -They are size queens -They were mean to George -They have enough money and don't care about $2,500/year -Like the previous reviewer mentioned, they have questionable environmental policies.

As long as I've lived in Centreville, I've only frequented two service stations - a Sunoco and this Exxon. One thing I like about this Exxon is the computer technology integrated into the pumps. When using my corporate fuel card, the interface lets me easily enter all the information without worrying about timing it properly. The technology in the gas pumps over in the Sunoco station is such that you have to quickly time your data entry in between these annoying beeps - otherwise you are not sure if all your data got entered properly. I'd rather not give Exxon business when I can avoid it due to some opinions I have of them about their environmental policies... I usually only end up in here when I have driven past the Sunoco, need gas, and am in a hurry.
