Smells like an old grease trap, arguably the nastiest smelling grocery store I've been too across five states.

I love all the staff members at this location.I am always greeted with a warm smile and given a wonderful shopping experience. I Freakin love the Manager Adriana , she's so lovely . She's always giving me great advice on how I can improve my shopping experience and Everytime we have conversations she's always checking in on me to see how things are going , which really makes me feel good . Never have I gone to the store she doesn't lend me a hand when she sees me .Whenever I feel like I am being an extra customer, she reminds me not to feel that way on how her and the crew are here to help with whatever needs of their customers and I shouldn't be afraid to ask for help of any kind . Also , the Manager Edward is so amazing. Everytime I enter the store he never misses a greeting from me , I could be going in the store in a rush , he always seems to remind me to not rush , take my time so I don't forget anything . Edward and Adriana always have positive attitudes and keep a beautiful smile on their faces even when their day isn't the brightest .That makes me as the customer notice how they try not let whatever situations they are dealing with not effect the entire store.Thank u Adriana and Edward and the rest of the crew for always making my shopping experience memorable.

pulled up at 10:58. Not cool by me, but i needed baby formula, I just got off work, and had no clue what other options were. I walk up to the door as the guy who appears to be the manager is at the door. I asked "Can I purchase some baby formula? I don't know where else to go." "We're closed." Theres no humanity left man. and as someone who works in retail, apparently there's no appreciation for posted store hours either.

ID Policy and Customer Service for Non-Alcoholic BeveragesI was recently at a Safeway store and was both surprised and annoyed when asked for ID to purchase non-alcoholic beer. Beyond the unexpected request, the manner in which it was handled left me feeling unfairly treated. While I fully support safeguarding measures for alcohol sales, extending this to non-alcoholic beverages seems overly cautious and diminishes the shopping experience. This incident prompts me to ask Safeway to reconsider its ID policy for non-alcoholic products. A more nuanced approach would not only respect the nature of these items but also the customers choosing them. Additionally, ensuring that all customers are treated with respect and understanding during such interactions is crucial.I hope my feedback will lead to a review of both the policy and customer service training. Thank you for your attention to these matters.

To all the food connoisseurs, guess who has great fried chicken at the best prices. Safeway Supermarket. The chicken is perfectly fried and tasty. Normally, for $8.99, you can get 8 pieces, really. On Monday, it's cheaper at $6.99. If you need a family meal, they have chicken fingers, wingetts, and a host of sides. They have all sorts of deals if you are having a party, try their 50 piece. It's too good to be true.

Why offer drive up or pick up when the order isn’t ever ready in time? On three occasions I’ve waited over 20 minutes for an order. I could have gone in and shopped for myself twice in the time it took to get my order. The staff is always lovely and apologetic. They clearly need more staff.

We’ve tried shopping here a few times and it is just not good. Generally bad inventory management due to a lot of expired or improperly stored food. Finally decided to post a review as a warning after buying ice cream (bought one of those Jeni’s ice creams that are a bit pricey) only to find that it seems to have been refrozen after completely melting. Just very icy crumbly instead of normal ice cream. So even the non expired items are potentially bad here.

I have really tried to like this grocery store but it’s not even close to a standard grocery store. A lot of the stuff on the shelves is expired and I have found items that expired in 2021!! This is 2023!!!! I purchased raspberries and found mold at the bottom when I got home. The yogurt had expired a month prior. They should rename this place STAYAWAY!!

Super pricey, only go sometimes because it’s close by. Some of the employees don’t seem even content to be there. The sale prices are often not actually fixed onto the goods, and when you ask to have it fixed when it rings up wrong they seem pretty sick of it. Had another customer with the same issue next to me who said it happens a lot to them too. Really am sorry to be a pain but we can’t all afford to have the advertised price raised at checkout just to avoid politely asking for help.

Can't believe Safeway is still around. Similar to shoppers or giant
