The seating is good. The cafe is adequate, you could eat breakfast or lunch here. The NHL rink glass has a tendency of getting really foggy, which is annoying. Locker rooms are clean and relatively spacious

This place has to be the poorest excuse for an ice arena.
The staff are extremely under trained. I honestly feel bad for them.
I’m unsure if they just have high school kids working or young college students I really can’t tell.
I tried to get my sons hockey skates sharpened and the kid working the equipment shop touched the blades and said “ I can’t sharpen these if they’re cold” after they weren’t even used for almost 30 minutes. I honestly believe that they just were never trained in preforming skate sharpening. If that’s the case they should probably be trained to say “ I’m sorry you’ll have to come back at a time when someone who’s actually trained properly is working” as opposed to just trying to explain something that is beyond false. Not only were the skates not cold… he touched the plastic part of the skate and tried explaining that the IN QUOTE “ internal temperature of the skates would make the blade shatter” haha while touching the plastic. The manager came out who was still pretty young to be said manager said “ sorry that’s the policy” I then asked to see the policy that she speaks of… which there isn’t an actual policy.. just what their “ trained”. I was flabbergasted at how ridiculous this sounded, I thought cameras were going to come out and shout that I was being pranked…like I said in my original statement. This is a joke of an “ ice arena” if you’re looking for an arena where people actually know about ice sports and equipment.. go to MedStar Iceplex.

Classes are huge and no real instruction goes on with the number of kids in a class today I’m counting 16 with 1 person trying to show them. The instruction consists of them doing it and having the kids follow them. If your kid doesn’t get it or is slower on the ice they get left. These aren’t lessons to be a teacher you have to instill confidence as well and this location severely lacks at doing that.

Visited 12/29/23 it was very busy. We went during the evening schedule 7-9pm. All employees were helpful. The entrance fee is $10 and the skate rental is $5. There is not a fee to be a spectator. They have a store and cafe on site. The great part is we are allowed to eat inside the rink on the bleachers.

The arena itself is wonderful, with an arcade, concession stand, and clean facilities. However I had booked with them for a party I was holding for my team. At the time of booking I was told $9 per skater and that I was confirmed for a party room and since they don’t do outside food or drink I ordered several pizzas as well with them. When I arrived the day of the only thing they had me down for was the skate time. They did not have a party room available or the pizzas and it was now $12 a skater. They were not able to fix their mistakes and seemed rather annoyed that I was asking them too and that I was even asking questions trying to understand. Although my team had fun skating they left disappointed with no food or area to celebrate their awards. Absolutely do not recommend booking your next event here.

Very nice facility. I was happy to be able to find parking nearby the entrance at a very full rink and felt relief entering a well maintained building. The locker rooms were spacious and I could only imagine they host great parties and public skating. The ice was well maintained, boards seemed to have a nice cut to them, no dips as far as I could see. Looking forward to more opportunities to visit

Went to watch my son play in the adult rec league - always fun. The grandkids had fun roaming around the bleachers.

I would give this location zero stars if I could. During the summer they only have public skating for an hour and a half in the mornings. Like we always do, we called the Ice Center in case reservations were needed for public skating. We were told by a lady on the phone reservations were not needed but that the Ice center closes at 11 p.m. i bring my entire stinger camp to the ice today only to get there and find out public skating was not available. I spoke to a very nonchalant manager who absolutely did not care at all and didn't offer anything but that maybe the counselor on my staff only asked when they closed and not the right set of questions to determine whether public skating was available or not.
