“I don’t know why this office gets low ratings. The representatives are friendly and I often have thoughtful conversations with them. The lines move fast. I have brought in large and often times heavy boxes to mail and their attitudes are so not change while handling these boxes. I always choose 12 day ground and the boxes usually arrive earlier. Five-star Service.”

The gentlemen here are friendly, kind and helpful, finding the right size box and offering stamps because we needed them, and finding the cheapest shipping option for what we needed. In stark contrast to another post office where they are unhelpful and won’t help you find or pack boxes. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!”

“This review is for passport services only. I visited the Lorton post office to apply for a passport. I arrived on time for my appointment, but the photo equipment was broken (which happens), so I had to go somewhere nearby to get my photos. That did not otherwise result in any delay in my application review and the solution was easy, so I didn't deduct any stars for that. It might be a problem for those trying to apply for a passport during walk-in hours, so I'd recommend coming with photos in hand just in case.
The postal worker was professional and patient and took great care to make sure the application and supporting documents were all present and correct. The worker clearly had had a lot of experience with the passport process and knew what to do to make sure the application made it through the State Department smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to go to this location for passport assistance again.”
“I visited this post office today for a new passport, I was helped by Sunisa. 2 yrs ago she also assisted me with my kids passports. She is always so friendly and provides the best customer service. I really appreciate her making the process so easy and pleasant. Thank you Sunisa for all you do!”
“This is my favorite post office. Its small but the wait is usually next to nothing. The staff remembers you by name. Its clean, and the post master is very nice and on top of whats going on. They also adhere to the 2 people in the lobby at a time and masks are required.”
“One of the best Post Offices I’ve been to. It might be because it’s on a Military Installation. The Post Master (Mrs. Alicia) runs a “tight ship”. All staff has consistently been courteous and helpful. Over the last year a lot of their retail staff have since changed which is why I am giving 5 Stars!!!”
“Wanted to give a shout out to Javonte and Viveca. Had a packaged that went international and took over several months since customs denied the shipment and had to be returned to sender. During this whole process both Javonte and Viveca reached out and assured they will keep an eye on my package and made sure it gets back to the sender. They have been very helpful and patience during the whole process. Thank you again. ??”
“Me and another lady and line had to loudly commend Porsche and her other staff for their exemplary service. The ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to cut down the wait time is phenomenal. I always bypass Fort Belvoir post office to come to this location. Because I know my needs will be taken care of. What an amazing reflection of their postmaster! Most be some updated training, or skills they self possess. WE LOVE IT!! Don’t lose that team! “I had a lot of stuff to send (8 boxes total and 3 were heavy dive tanks). Elenor and Judy were fantastic and laughed and made it fun, even when the printer jammed (repeatedly). The location was so easy to get to, close parking and easy access to the counter. I drove out of my way (from Arlington), just to use this location, and I will do so again!! Great job ladies !!!”

“I've been here twice & I like it there. It's quite & not a lot of traffic. I hate going to the one in Woodbridge, where I have to wait almost 30 mins to get to the desk. Customer service there is nice as well.”

“In months/years past, the reviews listed below represent all customers that had no choice but to use Kingstowne PO - including myself. The staff were rude, angry, and treated customers as if we were interrupting their job, when WE ARE THEIR JOB. This was consistent and not just a singular event.But, I'd like to point out that in the past several months, there is a new Postal Team at the Kingstowne Post Office, and they are kind, courteous, and good natured in their assistance. This is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT from the staffing last year and years prior. Please continue to hire folks like them! I actually walk out each time relaxed and smiling. Love the Kingstowne PO team!!”
“Every post office is overworked and understaffed, this one is no exception. I came to send out a standard passport application at my appointment time and Surbaya helped me. She was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable about how to work through the application. She knows what she's doing and it shows. And she was patient with me and all the other customers there with us who were also submitting passport applications. Thanks Surbaya for making my visit quick and painless.”

“The service was fine, I like the self service kiosks, I wish all branches had them. My only complaints are that it's filthy, & the supplies need to be restocked in the lobby. The doors in particular look like they've never been cleaned. Standing in line for forms is a waste of everyone's time.”
