The bank teller that helped me was Tracy. He was very polite and swift with my requests. I really appreciated his service. Sometimes the tellers aren’t the nicest but in this case he was great!

I tried to open an account to deposit the money I'm going to receive after I sell my property here in Lakeridge VA. But I feel so discriminate because they said my account still on review for a week now. I used my government ID Also, my husband is a LTC and he works at Edwards AFB CA. We don't have any branches at Edwards AFB CA or close to us, so I tried to open it here in Lakeridge VA where I'm going to sell my house. Unfortunately I can't open this account. They gave me a hard time. They said spouses, or military members could you enjoy it but it is not true.

I’m extremely impressed with this locations customer service.The bank was packed with customers and they maintained awesome situational awareness and directed travel very well instead of having me stand around confused.The facility appearance was also immaculate and clearly is well managed.

Been with them since 2009, and still have to jump through fire to get loans, credit card limit increases, refinancing, etc. Credit is very good, plus I make a great amount of income.

On 04/07/2022, I recently came into the local NFCU branch to deposit an Certified Check from PenFed. Upon depositing the check, I was told that their would be only an 1 business day hold on the account. Saturday 04/09/2022, I checked my account for my account balance. And my checking account was negative, due to NFCU placing an additional 5 day hold on my check for suspected fraud!!
After spending 2 hours on the phone with their representatives and even stopping by my local NFCU branch. I still wasn’t able to get a clear understanding of why this happened, after being told it would clear in 1 business day.
After this experience from NFCU and other outrageous reasons. I will be taking my deposits and business over to PenFed today!!!!
