These people are really unethical and immoral. In Virginia, if your car gets stolen and recovered, you have 5 days to pick it up without paying the storage fees. Yet these people kept this from me and made me pay the fees. When my car got stolen, I lost income since I work 3 jobs and two of them require driving. After some stupid kids stole my car for fun, it was a huge devastating blow. I had no money for rent, for transportation to work or for food and had to starve on occasion. I didn’t have any money at all to pay these fees and exhausted all my options to arrange for the money since I don’t make enough money and my credit score isn’t that great. My employer was nice enough to help me out but I shouldn’t have had to go through all this. Towing companies like this one should be ashamed of themselves for profiting off of stolen cars especially at the expense of those who are economically disadvantaged. Such poor excuses of human beings, the car thieves are not the only crooks here.

Worst place ever!! Their service is terrible and don’t care about the customer! The supervisor was so rude and disrespectful .. not the driver, but will not recommend and will never use again!! Don’t make my mistake.

My family and I have dealt with towing companies in the past, but they generally were not good experiences. That, however, is not the case with the Mid-Atlantic towing company in Woodbridge, VA.My wife was in an accident and had absolutely nothing but phrase for the gentleman that came to tow her vehicle. When we went their office, I met the gentlemen, and truly was a courteous friendly individual. I wish I had known he was the one that towed my wife's vehicle at the time, because I sincerely appreciated the kindness he showed my wife. Also, the young lady that worked in the office was just as courteous and helpful.Again, towing companies generally do not have best reputations for being helpful or considerate, so I thought it important to pass on our sincere appreciation for these individuals.

Horrible! I called and explained that I was catching an Uber there and no one told me I'd have to stand and wait outside in the rain with my daughter for an hour for someone to get here.

Very poor communication and customer service. My car was towed here after and accident and ever since i have been calling daily to see what the rate it daily and the current cost. I went To pick up my car today the 5th day of it being in the lot and came to pay for the car in which i had been told the day prior was only 505 dollars. When going to pay, i was told the total was 720. The cashier claimed that she isn’t there in the mornings and the cashier that was there in the morning, must have forgotten to tell me that after the 3rd day, a fee of 150 dollars is added. Even if that’s the case, i called that morning and the day right before 1 day and was told the total was only 505 dollars. Terrible customer service . Communicate all costs even if it is a high amount. That way when a person comes they can be prepared on how to pay. Also their payment machine took 5-10 minutes to work and they had to try it multiple times to get it to go through.Do better.Service: Car towing

We were referred to Mid Atlantic Towing after our daughter's car unexpectedly broke down while traveling from Richmond to Reagan Airport the day before Thanksgiving. Laura, Quentin and Edwin were very professional, trustworthy and timely. Despite being one of the busiest travel days of the year, they made us feel as if our situation was of utmost importance and made towing our daughter's car a priority when learning she basically had to a abandon her car at the rest area in order to Uber the remaining hour to the airport in order to catch her flight. We are grateful for these individuals and this company; willing to go above and beyond to help complete strangers in a time of need.Service: Car towing

Laura at the front desk is a angel, I had a really bad accident after getting a call that my mom was having stroke symptoms. I really should be in a body cast but I walked away only bruised and sore but definitely humbled. I can still hear Laura's word "nothing but god". The sight of my vehicle nearly brought me to my knees and this stranger (Ms. Laura) showed me so much compassion and love it helped keep me on my feet. Thank you again Mid Atlantic!! You guys have a special place in my heart!! ❤Service: Car towing

My car became disabled due to mechanical failure. M-A Wrecking came very promptly! I was on side of road, in the dark, with a failing car battery and impending thunderstorms. Thank you MARCUS and your "ride-along" KATRINA. Very kind and helpful, my car was in great hands.

This is by far the best towing experience I have ever had with a company. I needed to tow my vehicle back to my house after failing to jump start it several times, and I called Mid Atlantic who promptly set up an appointment with me for when I was available, and promptly jumped the car with their own tools, saving me the money of getting it towed, and then even helped me get a free battery and battery test from Autozone after! These guys are so kind and compassionate! They operate as actual human beings! I’m never using anyone’s services again, these guys are it! Thank you so much and keep up the good work!Services: Car towing

I was unfortunately involved in a Hit & Run accident that left me with a broken hand. VSP notified me at the hospital that my vehicle was located at Mid Atlantic tow lot. When released from the hospital I went to Mid Atlantic tow lot to retrieve my belongings from the vehicle. When I arrived no one answered the door. A guy pulled up in a tow truck with A McDonalds bag and yelled out the window to me “we are by appointment only, you need to call.” So at that moment I called the number posted on the buildings door.. that guys cell phone rang from inside the tow truck. He yelled out over his loud engine “you’re calling me” I said okay, I’d like to make an appt to retrieve my belongings. He said “we are at lunch come back at 2.”I left and came back at that time. The mid Atlantic employees would not let me to my car because I did not have my registration, I notified them that It was in the glove box but I was taken from the scene by ambulance after my crash. I was able to pull up my registration on the dmv website. I took pictures of my vehicle on the Mid Atlantic tow lot for insurance purposes, and retrieved most of my belongings from the vehicle. The next day, Friday May 8th insurance notified me that my vehicle was considered a total loss. Insurance told me to get the rest of my belongings from the vehicle, take pictures of the vehicle to send to them, give them call, and they would come to pick up the vehicle after that.Next, I called Mid Atlantic and they gave me a 3pm appointment for the same day Friday May 8th. Once I got the rest of my belongings i told a Mid Atlantic employee that my insurance company would be picking up the vehicle. The employee said they have to come Monday. Ironically Mid Atlantic closed up at about 330pm right after I retrieved the rest of my belongings from the vehicle.Insurance could not pick up the vehicle until Monday morning May 11th. I was notified by insurance maybe a week later that there was no radio installed inside my vehicle, however my rear view camera was still hanging from the trunk area.*The radio was stolen from my car/ taken without my permission between the time In which I last saw my vehicle on Friday May 8th - Monday morning May 11th when insurance picked it up from Mid Atlantic tow lot. Insurance company confirmed and had pictures of proof that at the date and time of their tow from Mid Atlantic lot that there was no radio installed.Thankfully I had photos of my radio installed Inside the vehicle after the crash to prove to my insurance company. I called Mid Atlantic and notified them of the situation and told them i would come up the next day to make a police report for the stolen vehicle at a 1pm appt. The next morning the manager contacted me from an unknown personal number at 9am and said “he knew the PWC police officers that handled the tow lots in the area and that he would make a report.” At that time I agreed and did not go to the 1pm appt nor did I make a report. A week passed and no police report. I call the manger back, he tells me that where my vehicle was parked in his lot there was no camera footage and that the cameras are black and white so it would be hard to see anyone’s faces.Long story short...the manager never made a police report. He never looked at the cameras he went off of employees word, an employee that took or knew who took the radio. The manager was home with an injured leg. He told me “police have more important police matters” when I asked him for the police report numbers or police officers name that he contacted. He lied and said my insurance company told him to just replace my radio. That stolen radio was an aftermarket touch screen radio. The theft of the radio took away from my total loss claim. If you ever need your vehicle towed by Mid Atlantic:1)TAKE PICTURES INSIDE & OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE2)DO NOT LEAVE IT AT LOT OVER THE WEEKEND(if you can help it)3)HAVE SOMEONE FOLLOW TOW TRUCK TO LOT TO RETRIEVE YOUR VALUABLES ALMOST IMMEDIATELYAnd this is coming from a police officer.
