I used to like this place back in 2011-2013 when I first lived in Woodbridge area. When I moved back here in 2020 I noticed that quality of service went down and prices went up quite a bit. One day I got a pedi done with paraffin bath, next time I come in and ask for the same service, they don't do it and when asked, tell me it is extra now. I never use nail polish on my feet and one time they use just buffing nail file, but when I come in next time, they tell me it is extra $5 (!?!), wth?? And they also only take tips in cash or venmo and add this "processing fee" on top of the service price. Disappointed.

I got a gel manicure and it only lasted 5 days before it started peeling. They also didn't soak off my previous tips, instead they ripped them off and damaged my nail. I will not be returning.

THE RESPONSE BELOW IS A LIE! I have never come in the morning I always come in the afternoon!!! *** WOW! They lie too! This place doesn’t have anyone working… Told no too many times and only one person there. Don’t bother! I came in and no one was has ever been at the reception desk. There is one guy there I always see and I go in and he always tells me you’re too busy. Yet he is the only one with a customer there is no one else in the whole place that I can see and if there are 2 people there at all times there was no reason for me to be told you were too busy! Don’t tell me it’s the wrong place now because it’s definitely the right place.

Poor service! As the last customer said they turn people away all the time. I was getting my pedicure done and a lady walked in and asked if she could have a pedicure done and he told her they were too busy. I was the only one in the store. There were a bunch of people up front but those people were his family. Not the way you do business!?? I won’t be back!Service: Nail art

Place was dark and cluttered. Nail tech did a terrible job on my nails but a pretty good job on my feet and toenails.

Staff were very sweet which is why I am giving a three star but service-wise I would have to give it a solid two.The nails as can be been in the pictures, came out very chunky and lumpy, especially toward the tips.The work felt very rushed as they kept accepting people with only two designated nail techs.Also Noteworthy takeaway, Not the most sanitary of places, there was a claw beetle crawling around a work station. And the towel being worked over needed a major deep cleaning.Overall not satisfied.Service: Gel manicures

Went and got pedis for me and my girl and what I like the most is how they take their time. I swear she spent a good 5 min on each toe. And then the rub down at the end was amazing. I was so relaxed. Matrix gives the best pedis I've had. And on top of that I was able to leave a good tip and still not spend over 200 for two people. 9/10Service: Pedicure

I had to get my acrylic nails removed today and i was pretty nervous ? getting it done considering my last experience.I called ahead and asked to come in 12:30pm came there around that time and I was greeted right away and they had a family their, it looks like a family business.Nhi removed my acrylic nails and I asked her to please be careful since I have little cuts from a previous nail salon. She told me tell her when it was painful. Getting my acrylics removed sucked so much. I asked her why she couldn’t dip my hands in a cuticle liquid to soften it and she explained to me because of my cuts from my cuticle area I would sting so we had to kind of work around what to do.She also explained acetone is not good for your natural nails along with acrylic. I also had my gel removed from toe nails also. That wasn’t bad and she also put cuticle oil on my finger nails and toe nails. She also buffed my nail beds it looked so rough after getting acrylics/gel removed.She was thorough and quick. The whole thing cost $20 and I tipped her too. She took her time and she was approachable. I hate getting my nails done but this was a decent and good experience. Thanks matrix nails!

i really had bad experience of pedicure. first you guys made me wait for an hour then when i asked you to do the eucalyptus pedicure you didn’t even do that you just did the regular pedicure which was so bad n quick. look at the way you guys put the nail paint for $53 . i will go never ever go to this place ever again. if you cant do your job properly please do take the appointments.Really really bad seriously !!!

Nina is amazing. I have been struggling to find a good nail tech in this area and am lucky to have found her a few months ago. She gives the best pedicures and beautiful manicures as well.

I went to this nail salon because my technician was booked so I figured I’d try a new place. Plus I was long over due for a pedicure due to postpartum and had family events coming up so I was kinda desperate. When I first walked in it was noticeably dirty.But I saw other clients (2-3) in the facility so I figured I’d give it a try. My nails ( overlay ) turned out cute and my pedicure was an OK experience. The young lady who did my toes clipped my cuticles to the point I was bleeding and it was very uncomfortable. When she applied the acetone and nail polish I flinched and told her “ it burns and is very uncomfortable” (She didn’t comprehend English well so I let it slide). Although I’m not fluent in her language, moments later, I understood she was complaining about my remarks and how she had to re-paint my toe nails when one of her associates questioned why it was taking so long to finish.I read similar complaints but was just hoping it was a bad day or a not so perfect nail tech that doesn’t work there anymore. Overall, I’d return to get my nails done by Keith, he was kind and considerate. I usually spend close 150- 200 on my nails. I paid nearly less than half here.
