LT is by far one of the best mechanics I’ve come across. Very honest and knowledgeable in an old school way. He’s fixed numerous major issues on my Audi a6 that would otherwise have made me sell the car. Every time has been a flawless process. These cars cause a lot of headaches when things go wrong and it’s important to have someone who knows what they’re doing. I would consider LT a master tech with my experiences with him. I am definitely never going anywhere else.

Soo reliable. Very honest man. I am so lucky to have found him. I’ve taken my BMW to him many times but never for the same problem because he always fixes everything. I’m so impressed. Driving BMW usually means you have car repair PTSD but I feel so confident that LT can handle it.

I recently started taking my BMW X3 to LT and he is less expensive and more honest than the dealer and other shops. He changed my valve cover gasket for half the dealership price. Also I deal directly with him….no red tape and lengthy wait.

Had my rear brakes replaced as well as an oil change in my 2019 Mercedes and I my breaks feel amazing . I went to JT to get all four replaced , he told me my front 2 were still at 80% . I just moved to St. Pete and I was looking for a good mechanic because Mercedes dealers are rip offs . JT is an honest man, a great mechanic , and I will

If you want someone reliable, HONEST, fair pricing, excellent repair, done quickly, and better than any dealership, GO TO LT Foreign Car German and Japanese Car Repair.
I needed a control arm and motor mounts, and needed a foreign car repair service for our 2002 Mercedes. LT foreign car is under new management. So I brought the car there. He not only did a great job, but because my husband had open heart surgery, and needed a car to get him to on going medical care, he fixed the car while I waited. He had a place full of cars, but did the job, at a very reasonable price. He also pointed out that the Ball Joint on my left front tire needed to be changed. It was his last day open before his Closing for Christmas. I had no time to fix the ball joint.
I had to pick up my daughter the next day at Tampa Airport, it was Midnight as I am waiting for her to come out, I was circling the airport, when I kept hearing the tire noise and more play on my steering wheel, I pulled in to the hotel bus and taxi area.
Just then, to my horror, the ball joint broke, my tire wouldn’t move. We rented a car at the airport. Our insurance company tow service came, and I had the car towed to LT FOREIGN CAR German and JAPANESE CAR REPAIR, at 5 am, Sunday, leaving a note and a key.
The first working day after Christmas, I got the call from the owner of LT FOREIGN CAR. He gave me an estimate within a half hour, we told him to change both front tire ball joints. By 4:00 we had a car again and we’re able to return the rental car to Avis, and save five more days of rental that we originally requested, since we didn’t know how long it would be.
We thank the wonderful owner, whose name I don’t know, for fixing our car. It’s perfect! It runs smooth and better than ever at very reasonable cost.
By the way, we asked him to check the breaks. He said they were fine. No work needed. He is so honest.
Everyone with a foreign car, should use him for tune ups, oil change, service of any kind. You will be so glad you did.

Under new management . I came here twice with overheating issues and other major issues. Lets just say I couldn't make it down the street without my car shutting off completely ??????? We found LT Auto Repair online and read the reviews. We decided to take our 2013 BMW X5 to him after a bad experience at another mechanic. We were having an overheating issue and LT was able to diagnose the problem very quickly and prepared a written estimate within hours. He replaced the water pump, and our issue was resolved at a fair price. He also shows you the old part(s) that were replaced and performs a ride along test drive, so that you know the work was done and the problem fixed. We returned to him a few weeks later with a starting issue and he was able to again diagnose and fix our issue. We are very grateful to have found LT as he is very knowledgeable, honest, and responsive.
