“This is a fabulous laundromat. The owner was present and helped me pick a machine and soap for my washable rug. I made a bit of a mess when taking it out and he was right there with a mop. As a female going into a laundromat I felt very safe. The machines themself take quarters or card.”

In between folding my clothes, she tossed in a few “fun facts” about laundry—most of which I’m pretty sure were completely made-up but delivered with such flair that I was on the edge of my seat. “Did you know that laundry’s favorite movie is *The Wringer*?” I may have snorted my coffee, but hey, best laugh I’ve had all week!
