I had a good experience only thanks to the REAL manager. I had a delusional employee unfortunately and had probably some prior issues resulting in me getting his worse side, he refused to help me or attempt to assist me by giving me better information and then when I requested to speak to a manager he consistently said he can say no and doesn't want to and that I need to leave the store for being unpleasant. Joshua, the disgraceful employee who doesn't not carry ikea employee customer standards at all, should've routed me to another employee instead of being so unfulfilling with my requests but after refusing to leave and saying he can call security because I know I was in NO wrong doing AT ALL! I figured out a solution thanks to the very helpful gentleman who was Asian (I unfortunately didn't catch his name due to Joshua's dramatic performance), he fulfilled every question and request because I knew it was possible to do what I was asking for (a very simple request) despite Joshua's remarks claiming it's not possible and he refused to help me. I still love ikea but the employees in the Woodbridge location need to be revised and updated, especially because they feel like they are entitled to something even tho they just work at a customer service desk, they also were rude toward their superiors after coming out to mediate and resulted in him being dismissed and his side kick was also given a warning and I'll be reporting both these employees to corporate. I've never seen such behavior by a customer service representative, truly upsetting

IKEA in Woodbridge, VA offers an awesome selection that's truly impressive. From stylish furniture to practical home accessories, they've got it all. The layout is easy to navigate, and the prices are reasonable. A+ for variety, affordability, and overall experience.

Yesterday I went to IKEA and they are in full renovation. Now they have no more cashiers. Just self checkout where you have 1 employees for 6 machines and that employee kind Check whet you bought. This is ridiculous . Why do I have to work for me buying their products. You know what IKEA - you lost a client for LIFE. If you are so capitalist that you don't want to pay people to be cashier. You lost my business forever. Bye IKEA

Overall it was a nice clean environment. It’s a little hard to navigate inside the store based on the maps they provided and since it was my first visit I wasn’t familiar with the store or what to expect. It was a Monday and not many people were there including store employees to answer questions. We had lunch there and the food was a good value. We did end up buying a chair. I’m sure I will return.

My online experience sucked so bad. I have been purchasing items from IKEA since MAY 1, 1988. I ordered that showed on line as in stock and available for delivery. They kept changing my delivery date and basically said "You can cancel your order". After speaking to customer service multiple times finally speaking with Jessie who assigned me a Case # and delivery a week later.I called 2 days later to reconfirm the delivery date there was no date in the system and some items were out of stock.So I decided it was time to terminate my 36 year relationship with the poorly operated company.BUYER BEWARE!!

My daughter (19) and I went here to hang out, wander, and chat. All of that was achieved plus exploring a decorating vibe. Easy parking. Nice time.

My comment is before shopping, the escalator was not working I took stairs to the top floor. it took me direct to the restaurant, I said let me try breakfast. I order the breakfast combo. The price was unbelievable ? only $3.29 wow. Fresh food?????? in 2023.

despite ordering online, i will say that the customer service at the store is pretty good.we had some swedish food (which was delicious) and then went to collect the items and all the staff we encountered were helpful with directions to get to the pickup area.we’ve been to the store before and the options and prices are really worth it.eg. a pack of 10 clothes sturdy hangers for $2 is amazing.def recommend visiting or even browsing online.

IKEA is NOT the place anymore for cheap Swedish meatball lunches, and inexpensive furniture that comes with complimentary frustrations.Their selection is good to inspire ideas and concepts, but the customer service is terrible (if you find anyone) and the self-check out...still about 20-30 minutes.My prediction is that IKEA will seize to exist within the next 10 years, especially after eliminating the Family discount.Good luck IKEA!

My friend and I had never been to IKEA and wanted to go check it out last night. We first made a stop at the kitchen to try the plant based meatballs. Leo who was the chef let us try and sample the items before committing to the meal. He was so kind and attentive while we asked questions. When it was time to pay we did not think to join as a member to be able to get the discounted meatball price. Leo came over from the kitchen and helped us out by giving us his card to use to be able to get the discount price. We were beyond grateful for him and we left ikea so happy!!! We will definitely be back for more plant based meatballs and hopefully Leo will be working :)

Bought some things a few days ago and left some things at the ikea register and it was closed when I went back. I’m 45 min away so I’ve been calling everyday to try to get a refund on my things that were left there. NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE. This is not the first time I’ve called and no one answers. What’s the purpose of having a phone number if employees or anyone for that matter, ever picks up. Horrible customer service.
