Dropped my car off here overnight with a slow leaking front left tire. I called the shop Saturday morning to make sure they understood the issue. They called back a few hours later to say that they couldn’t find a hole so “it’s good to go.” I pressed them and asked them to recheck since I needed to drive to Baltimore on Monday morning and they said there’s nothing else that could be done. Halfway to Baltimore the car indicated a loss of tire pressure and the TPMS light came back on. I stopped at Gerry’s Tire Services in Baltimore and it took them about 5 minutes to locate the pinhole leak on the sidewall and circle it. HomeTowne Auto Repair should not advertise tire services if they don’t have technicians with the basic skill sets to diagnose tire issues.

I’ve been a customer here since they opened for business. I’ve always found their service to be top-notch, from listening carefully to my concerns, educating me about my car issues, providing thorough inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and recommended maintenance. The environment is friendly and accommodating, including the drivers who pick me up and bring me home when needed. I’ve always expected Hometowne to provide excellent, organized, services, and they do not disappoint. That’s why we’ve trusted them with five vehicles through the years. I highly recommend them!

Their prices may be slightly higher than other places you could go, but they do great work and communicate really well. It's worth going to a good mechanic so I encourage anyone to visit them.

I have had my oil changed at Hometowne Auto previously. I have a German car and I understand that it takes more oil than most cars and the oil is more expensive. When I picked up my car after having a second oil change I was floored by the price increase. Oil can’t possibly go up $5 a quart in 6 months. Even the car dealership doesn’t charge as much as I was charged. This will be the last time I take my vehicle here for this service.

They were ready for the car, did the work efficiently, added a few notes, and charged a fair price. Great staff, too! Today the car maintenance was complete in half the expected time.

Many years ago it was a good place to take cars for alignment they had great technicians. Took my F150 for alignment I brought it in good condition not pulling to the sides or librating when driving it but their worker broke something and gave me back my truck pulling to the side. They didn’t even fix what they broke and still charge me for alignment. Don’t recommend this place to anyone anymore.

My hubby sent his 2012 GMC Acadia to Home Towne auto repair and tire to fix the AC. They initially told him the AC had no issues. Then they claimed they found the problem and made pay almost 500 bucks. They promised him to come back after a few days if it doesn't work to get it fixed at no charge. He returned the car within 4 days as the problem was still there. He was given extra 600 dollar bill to get it fixed of which I doubt they can.
I don't recommend this place to anyone. They lack experienced workers. You go there at your own risk..

HomeTowne Auto & Tire repair did an excellent job on our vehicles’ A/C issue. They kept us informed of what they had diagnosed, what they could do to correct it, and what follow up actions
we might consider. They had the A/C running cold air again and alerted us to a possible
Issue with the compressor we can get repaired or replaced when we get back home. I would recommend their World Class customer service to anyone in need of automotive repair. We are from out of town, yet they treated us like family and longtime customers. It just doesn’t get any better than that!! Thanks for a great experience.

Very pleased with the level of service provided at Hometowne Auto Repair. They thoroughly inspected and photographed all the safety features of my car, while providing courteous and friendly shuttle service, so that I could wait at home. We will be visiting them for any future maintenance/service.
