Started about 15 minutes late. Felt rushed. Was told that I would pay one price (introduction price). Ended up pay the regular price I guess. No plans of going back.

Overall, it was a fair experience. One of my complaints was that they didn't disclose what was an upgrade versus just asking what it is I was needing to focus on when it came to a facial and massage for my wife and me. What was supposed to be a $320 expense for the two of us was $160 for one of us and $290 for the other, all without clearly communicating what was beyond the service scheduled so that it was known beforehand prior to checking out.
Also the two of us had vastly different experiences too. My facial was good with plenty of intervals of warm towels placed on my face and used to wipe off the lotions or oils used before applying something else. My wife on the other hand didn't have that experience and dealt with the therapist stepping out multiple times during her session. Massage was good and I would go back again for that.
Bottom line, the establishment charges high end prices but isn't providing that and seems to strive to get you when you walk out to pay by recommending products and next appointments before you can really wake up from your experience like a used car dealership would after you park. I will only go back if they're offering promotions and I will clearly communicate to prevent upgrade charges that weren't identified as such.

I have been a member for years. I book for 90 minutes because it takes me at least 15 to relax lol. Zach and Maya are my go-to therapist. They are very attentive and allow me to enjoy the silence and music in the room. Very happy with my membership.

I had the most relaxing and amazing massage experience with John. He was extremely knowledgeable about different massage techniques and methods, I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone passionate who will pay attention to your needs!

I just received a massage with Stephanie and it was excellent! I was really sore from a new workout going in and came out feeling great! Stephanie delivered an awesome pressure and workout out my problem areas. I've had massages with Zack, Lizzy and another man there and they all provided such great service! The front desk receptionists are always friendly and professional and helpful! I am a massage therapist myself and was looking for a place to go where I could be the client for once. So I'm happy to have found Hand and Stone and to have become a member!

I must say that the massage therapists at this Woodbridge location are really top notch. I’ve tried the other Hand & Stone locations, but this one is worth traveling to. John G., Kelly, Lizzie, and Stephanie are incredibly talented and are all healers in their own ways. Most recently, John G. and Kelly have both helped me with lower back and foot pain and always go out of their way to personalize the massage to ensure I see results! Also, the manager, Libby, is incredibly personable and empathetic when there are administrative or billing questions. I’ve just been really impressed with their customer service and skill sets.

Five starts is not enough to give Kelly! She is amazing and the absolute best. Puts client at total ease, vast experience and top notch skill--she is a maestro of muscles! I always leave feeling like a million bucks. Most highly recommend you are lucky to book with Kelly!!

My massage and my wife's facial were both magically removed from the calendar again today, May 19, 2024. We stood at the counter two weeks ago and made the appointments, watched them entered, and now they are gone. We watched then entered because this has happened more than once. We show up on time, do not cancel, tip well, and like to think we're nice people. We now have more than 20 "spa packages," or around $1500, to use between us, but getting an appointment in the evening or weekend and them actually keeping it is impossible.It seems very much like people who are already enrolled as members get bumped for new customers and the opportunity to start billing them monthly.I WOULD NOT ENROLL IN A MEMBERSHIP. The energy it takes to try and get Hand and Stone to keep their end of the deal is not worth it. The massage therapists and estiticians are great, but getting to them is the issue. We have attempted to cancel on more than one occasion only to be promised of better performance, new management, and free upgrades. An upgrade to an appointment that gets canceled or bumped.

The massage therapists and the estheticians are very good at their jobs. When I can get in the classic facial and diamond glow are my favorites. Since we have joined, we have booked appointments in person and then shown up to find there is no appointment. Then we have to make another appointment 2 weeks out. We have had appointments canceled last minute as well. This has happened so often we have many packages and can't use them. We have tried to cancel the membership no no avail. The manager never calls back. I don't like making a negative review. Just feel like I should warn others that you will not get services here. I have only been able to get an actual appointment twice this year. It's disappointing, and I feel taken advantage of.
