What an amazing store and full of very friendly and extremely knowledgeable staff. There is lots of stuff for the radios and so on. I needed help with an RV camera wire, and they were extremely helpful. Went home, fixed what I needed, and came back another day and asked for them to fix one of the connections. They simply said come back in an hour, and its done. Price was super fair, and I could not be happier. If you have any questions when it comes to radio wire, coax, and similar requirements, stop here first to fet the answers.

If anyone here is an Amateur Radio operator and lives close to here, don't hesitate to shop around here! The staff are incredible here and are very welcoming to new hams like myself.They also have a great selection of radios for display, especially the HF section.

Amazing customer service. The HRO team did not hesitate to take care of my needs when an unforeseen problem arose with my radio. The staff is super friendly and customer focused (even to the point of entertaining the countless questions by my 5 y/o). I definitely intend to keep using HRO for all future amateur radio needs. Highly recommend HRO to all radio amateurs in the NOVA area.

I have done a lot of business in recent years with the Woodbridge, VA location and the manager there has really gone above and beyond to help me resolve a problem with a used Kenwood TS-990 they sold me (a very expensive model). The repair shop Kenwood uses was having a severe staffing shortage and increasing delays. The manager Steve Gilmore found another 990 HRO was selling out of the Phoenix store and offered to ship it to me, along with an external speaker as a bonus. I was stunned at this level of concern and service, particularly in 2022 when most of us experience horror stories. I felt that the entire store staff was upset at the predicament and did all they could to help rectify the problems. Thank you to Steve and HRO. I’m looking forward to enjoying this amazing radio.

Went there with questions; got not only answers (on EARNING my license - not just passing a test) but met some nice, knowledgeable people. Had a friend with me who was just my ride but ended up VERY intrigued. When it's time to buy stuff or learn more, I'll DEFINITELY go back.Oh... did I mention there was LOTS of cool ham radios and other ham gear??!! I think they're a chain but if they're ALL that friendly, I'm even MORE impressed.
