I've been a loyal customer at the Food Lion in Staples Mill Shopping Center for quite some time, and every visit reaffirms why it's my favorite grocery store. This place is more than just a store to me; it's a part of my weekly routine that I genuinely look forward to. ?️
The store's layout is intuitive, making my shopping trips efficient and pleasant. ?️ The aisles are well-organized, and I can always find what I'm looking for, whether it's the freshest produce ?? or the most exotic ingredients ?️ . The products are always stocked and neatly presented, which speaks volumes about the staff's attention to detail.
The employees at Food Lion deserve a special shout-out. They are incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to assist. Their smiles ? are just as refreshing as the food they sell. I appreciate the cleanliness of the store, which is maintained diligently, providing a welcoming shopping environment. ✨

AVOID the Food Lion in Dale City and GO to GIANT instead. READ THE BAD REVIEWS and don’t WASTE your TIME. They have the worst customer service and management don’t even care. After waiting for almost 1hr for 8 pieces friend chicken, the deli clerk, Tania ( coworker told me her name) was laughing and talking to others and didn’t take care my order even though I told her I ordered and I was waiting for the 8 pieces chicken. When the chicken was done, TANIA decided to sell my chicken to other person even though I clarified again I was waiting for the 8 pieces fried chicken. She didn’t take care of my order or said anything even though I spoke to her in English and Spanish. Tania looked at me and walked away. I thought she was disabled and couldn’t talk until I noticed she was talking and laughing instead of working. To me it is obvious that in this store people do NOT WANT to WORK, so they should stay home instead of working with customers. I complained to the manager but she didn’t even uttered a word so I walked away. She was more concerned in her conversation with a coworker than in me telling her what terrible service her store has under her management. This happened on Oct 12, 2023 at 2.30-3.30pm approx. PS. There is another Food Lion in Montclair but I am not spending my money at this chain every again!
