This is my 2nd year filing taxes and Byron has provided me with a plethora of information to keep in mind as well as answer any "looming" questions I had. My taxes are pretty simple but he entertained my questions with great care and patience. I didnt feel rushed and he was able to e-file my taxes the following day. I forgot the front desk receptionist name but she always displays an amazing amount of customer service and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in for my appointment. Thank you Dominion! You have a client for life!

They helped me figure out my tax mess from several. Years back to 2014 to get the IRS off my back. My exhusband left me a mess to figure out, dominion taxes helped get me sorted very quickly and for a very reasonable fee.

UPDATED: I've had my taxes done over 7 years here. Great place to go when you want it fast and accurate at a reasonable price and the office staff is always courteous. Then things changed.
After 7-8 years of doing taxes with them I had to change my review from 5 stars to 1. 2 years ago I gave my children's names, dates of birth and socials to Molly for filing several amended returns. She messed one up but claimed I failed to give her the correct information ... so I pulled the email records and it was all there. It cost me $2,000. She begrudgingly refunded the fee for the messed up filing.
The following year she refused to return calls or emails when we attempted to get tax filing started early, resulting in me going local. See I had moved out of state and STILL kept her for my tax prep. I was even willing to overlook the mistake ... just not the poor customer service and attitude when she messed up. It cost her a small fee, but it cost me a LOT more. Sorry. This is a firm that is best avoided.

Mollie has been doing our personal and business taxes for about 10 years. There's a very handy list on her website of all forms to bring with you to the appointment. She always makes recommendations on any adjustments we should make and things we should be prepared for with changes to tax laws for the following year. We love her and highly recommend her and her staff for all tax needs!

My taxes are pretty complicated since I have to file in multiple states. That coupled with the new tax laws means that there was no way I was going to attempt to do my taxes myself. I called Dominion early in January and was able to get a spot as a new client. (I later learned that they only open a few new client spots every year, so I recommend trying them in December or January if you want to get a spot.) I called the morning of my appointment to make sure they were still open, since a snowstorm had canceled schools and many local business closed for the day. Not only was Dominion still open, but they were able to move my appointment to earlier in the day since other clients had canceled. As soon as Carson was done with his previous appointment, he welcomed me back to his office and we started going through the paperwork. Carson was so great. It's clear that he is extremely familiar with the tax code and entered all my paperwork quickly. He helped me access some additional information online when we realized I needed an additional piece of real estate paperwork. He even explained some deductions that we were eligible for that I was unaware of and allowed me to submit that paperwork later after I collected the necessary information at home. Perhaps the most amazing part of all of it is that Dominion only charges a $150 flat fee for your personal taxes. I thought for sure it would be like one of these chain tax places where the base rate only applies if you are filing in one state or have a single W-2. Their price is more than fair to know that your taxes are done right and you are getting as many deductions as possible based on your individual situation. I'll definitely be back next year!

I always thought i was going to a right people for my tax. i went to them, for 4 years and i just find out this year that they were doing my tax all wrong and i was just getting min refund. i even show them all my deductible and itemize items and they just give me a standard deductible. this year i got 2k more then last year. please go somewhere else or let them know that you want to get everything done. they would only spend 30 min with you and they will give you a refund. a good tax preparation would take at least 2 hours. i was very upset when i heard that.
