Huge thank you to Carla at this location for helping me find my dress. Even with only 3 months left till the wedding, Carla made me feel so at ease about finding the one. Just talent was very much appreciated as the dress that I chose ended up being something that she recommended a little bit away from my original vision! I can’t wait for my big day now.

It was my first appointment and I found my dress in my budget and the people made me feel so comfortable plus I was just with one of my friends and my family couldn’t come with and they were so nice and supportive!

I took my wedding dress here for alterations. The hem is good. However, the straps were altered unevenly which isn’t the worst part. I asked that they repair the hook as well, and it was clear where the hook had been. My dress didn’t fit when I put it on when I picked it up after alterations and I chalked it up to be because it’s a corset fit and my husband struggled with the zipper prior (hence the broken hook). However, it had fit when I turned it in for alterations and I have not gained any weight. Although it was clear where the hook had been, (and I mean blatantly obvious) they moved the hook an entire inch inwards, causing the dress not to fit. My mother and law had to replace the hook again herself and put it where it was actually supposed to go. She only has expierience from when she did theatre in school and could see where the hook was meant to be, while this is a business where alterations knowledge are a required skill, so I have no idea where this “skill” was applied. They also couldn’t find my wedding dress at first when I went to pick up the dress because they spelled my last name wrong. Overall everything regarding alterations and dress pick up was incredibly stressful. It isn’t nice to be terrified that your wedding dress doesn’t fit five days before your wedding when it just turns out to be an alteration error. Do not come here for alterations. They will tell you that they can do it no problem and then you will have to fix it yourself.
- I also want to note that the reason I had to try on the dress today instead of earlier is because of travel. I figured it was safe to assume a hook was installed properly considering this is a business focused on wedding gowns and how they fit. Lesson learned that this place can not be trusted with one of the most important aspects of a wedding.

I bought my wedding dress here, and the actual try on and buying of the dress went well. The problem came with alterations. I had the sheer bodice of my dress lined, and the seamstress asked at least three times if I wanted a modesty panel. I told her all times no, please don't add one. When I pick up the dress, not only is the lining crooked with a visible seam showing from the lining fabric, but the modesty panel I explicitly said I did not want was in my dress. No one was willing to look at the crooked lining or discuss the added modesty panel. I'm now having my dress altered again at a tailor.
Would I buy a dress at David's again? Sure. Would I have it altered there? Absolutely not.
I'm also posting this review because when I tried to post it in May I was told to reach to customer service instead of leaving a negative review. I never heard from them again.

This was my first time shopping for my wedding , didn't think I'd actually find THE ONE . Yet thanks to Samar and Kendall, they made sure I did. We were their last appointment and they close at 7, but they were so kind and determined to help me figure out what exactly I needed. Thanks to Kendall's insight, she found THE ONE !!! I'm so excited for my big day and can't thank this team enough for all that they do.
Ps. Their rite of passage was also a huge highlight of my night, getting to make a wish and ring the bell made me cry.
Pps: my wife loved my dress !

Apparel was very limited for mother of the bride. Only had plus sizes for the most part. This is no Kleinfeld. I booked an appt. and received very little help or encouragement. Completely self-service. Drove a long way to get to the store and was very disappointed. Mgr didn’t seem to care at all either. What you see is what you get. No attempt to help order me something as nothing much was in the store. When I asked why so limited stock they didn’t have an answer. Lady I met when I walked in and helped me a little was nice though. Will never go to another David’s Bridal.

I went to David’s Bridal at the Woodbridge, VA location and I was very pleased with the excellent customer service that I was provided. I went in to get alterations done to my dress and Ms. Betty was nothing short of amazing. She was very professional, polite and sweet. She gave me specific instructions on what I needed to do, so that she could get the correct measurements to get the look that I desired. She made the process of getting my alterations done so seamless and quick. Thank you, Ms. Betty!
