I stopped shopping at CVS. For years, I had all my prescriptions filled at the Tacketts Mill location in Lake Ridge. I have a 2nd insurance coverage and advised them as such. However, they would never process the remaining balance through the secondary insurance. Finally, when I retired, I paid more attention to this issue. I confronted them so many times about pursuing the secondary coverage. I complained to their corporate office, but no change. Finally, I had it out with the pharmacist. I caught her in a lie. She claimed she called it in but no one returned her called. My secondary is covered by 911, and they are very responsive, especially to doctors and pharmacists. They never have to call you back. They help each caller during a call. I told the pharmacist this. When I went back, she refused to fill any prescriptions from me. I complained to corporate and other governing entities. Then, I switched to One Hanson, on old bridge in lake Ridge and never experienced any problems with getting my secondary coverage to this day, July 31, 2023.

The pharmacist is extremely rude. Avoid at all cost. Arrived at 8:43 PM with my prescription that I needed filled that same night, and I assumed everything was good, because the pharmacy didn't close till 10 PM that night. WRONG! at the drop-off counter she immediately says, "If you need that prescription filled tonight...it's definitely not gunna happen...we've already started inventory!" It's more than an hour and fifteen minutes before the pharmacy is supposed to close! They are rude, lazy, and clearly don't care about anything except making it home in time to watch March Madness! Like, bitch your bracket was busted day 1, sit your ass down. Bottom line is...I'm never going back and I encourage everyone to do the same! Stay away! Period.

Well the store looks like a warzone at 145pm. Not many customers and all I was trying to do was get my prescription. Had yo use the restroom but the sign said out of order even though employees were using it. The reason I know that was the access door was locked but I could see through the side glass. So meanwhile i am waiting fpr the pharmacy to open up and doing the old man have to use. the bathroom dance. I asked the pharmacist why they lock the bathroom. She said they have to say its out of order because shoplifters clog the toilets with empty packages. If I want to get access the manager might help me but he is across the store. Well how does that help me? If you are on any diaretic dont use this place. The neighborhood must be unsafe.

This late operating CVS pharmacy saved me from a very long night. My son ran out of a prescription that he needed for the night. Without the convenience of being able to transfer his prescription and their late hours we would have had to go to the ER!

This is by far the worst pharmacy!!!!! They never have the medication ready after waiting in like for over 30 min then told to come back when my prescription was called in over 5 hours ago! They text and say my medication is ready when it’s never done. I’m definitely moving my medication to a new pharmacy!!’

My favorite CVS. Patronize this location for over 20 years. Have all my prescriptions filled here. The pharmacy staff is top-notch.

I read all the negative reviews and didn't know what to expect. However, when I arrived there was a single pharmacist covering the drive through, the counter, and the phone. She did a phenomenal job and her customer service and attitude were superb! I was truly impressed and thankful to get my meds after 10:000 PM!

I would give this location zero stars if I could. This location ONLY provides flu shots to CHAMPVA insurance holders. The Pharmacist "Madelyn Hercules" exclaimed that they do not take OptumRX for prescriptions, but will honor it for flu-shots only. I do NOT recommend sending Veterans and their dependents to CVS. She also expressed that maybe Walgreens has the contract with the VA. The awful thing about this is that I waited almost an hour, only to be told that they do not accept this insurance. It's frustrating because the OptumRX website lists them as an in-network pharmacy. They have zero customer service skills and lack the ability to process refills efficiently. Do not come to this pharmacy if you are looking for good customer service and if you are running short on time.

I have never sat in a drive-through for a prescription for so long in my life!! And by the time you figure out how long it's going to take, you're stuck. You can't get out.

Subpar location. Their shelves are consistently depleted. Their pharmacy staff is very inattentive. They will continue to work although they made eye contact with and fail to acknowledge you. At first I thought it was just a bad day but this happened more than one. There's a pharmacy tech his name starts with an A he's especially rude. I wouldn't come here at all if it wasn't the closest pharmacy nearby. Opt for other locations if you can

Great CVS. Always racked with all sorts (except during Covid). Seasonal sales. Friendliest staff! Rebel review: 5

After leaving the bathroom, a clerk told me that a person with COVID-19 was just in there using it. She explained that it was cleaned with bleach but still wanted me to know. Why I'm putting 1 star is because CVS should have a policy in place for employees to shut down areas of exposure to prevent any outbreaks. Not simply clean it with bleach and call it a day. Like if someone was in there recently then it should be shut down for at least a few hours!
