It wasn't very crowded. The prices are not that expensive, but affordable. The staffers did not smother me nor others as some stores/outlet does.

Worse place to try to return an item. The manager there should be working in a barn since she doesn’t have the slightest idea how to talk to a customer. Her name is Eurika. I asked her for the corporate phone # and she game me the online customer service phone # which of course they weren’t able to help me either. I sent a complaint in and the replied was “we’ll get back to you within 24 hours “. Went in to the store last week on a Thursday, sent in an email that same day, today is Wednesday and I have not heard from anyone. Bloomingdale store at the Potomac Mills mall is not that cheap to be throwing money away. I tried to return a Christmas gift with the receipt and tags on the items. The so call manager said that it was passed 90 days, but it was not. This Eurika must have flunked Math in school, because she didn’t no how to count. Anyway I guess stores are hiring people now a days with no people skills and not very smart. The stores never loose money, but they can loose sells and end up closing because horrible customer service. The day will come, you know that KARMA does not forgive. Save your money and go shop somewhere else, don’t just give your money to people that treat other people with disrespect.

My mother received two items from the Potomac Mills Bloomingdale's for Christmas as a present from a family member. I took the receipt and the items with the original tags and this manager name Eurika with an attitude says to me that it was passed 90 days. Not even trying to see if she can give some acceptable customer service, bluntly said "No I can't do anything for you". The family member purchased the items October 26th, 2023, 90 days would be January 26th, 2024. That store is not cheap even by being in the Outlet Mall. They just don't care about the customers there. So, think twice before you buy anything from there. A lot of people started purchasing Christmas gifts in October, since you were able to find good prices. The way the economy is right now everything over priced and to have this type of category stores with really high prices to refuse a return with receipt and tags is really uncalled for. On the internet Bloomingdale's posted that returns are good for 365 days and this was posted October 2023. So, false advertising to steal your money. I just hope that someone higher can get in touch with me regarding this return soon. Very upset with Bloomingdale's, horrendous customer service.

Meh. Darkly lit and nothing special. You can find better deals and higher end designers at the nearby TJmaxx.

Men's shoe selection was pretty good. Never see what I'm looking for in regards to clothes though. Women's sunglasses have a great selection of luxury brands.

I went in Bloomingdale's to shop for a woman's evening dress. They had a decent selection and their prices weren't bad. What was bad was their women's fitting room and hold policy. The fitting room smelled like urine. I thought it was just the room I went in (the very first room), however when I moved to the last room, it smelled the same just not as strong. The carpets in the fitting room are in need of a deep cleaning or taken up completely. I couldn't even stomach to try on the clothes, better yet walk on that carpet. When I asked the cashier if she could hold a dress, I was told they only hold merchandise for 30 minutes. 30 minutes?! I can't even walk to the other end of the mall and back in that short time frame. I have never heard of a store hold policy with such a short time frame.

Friend accused of shoplifting when wallet was lost in the store. Was in the shoe section as she looked for it (she couldn't decide so she tried many), The female there was not letting her explain and trying to kick her out, not a pleasant experience. Other workers are still lovely people.

Me and my 11 other friends needed formal attire for an event we’re attending. All of us have been in and out of stores in this mall looking for the right clothes. One of my friend was trying on shoes at different stores and one of them was Bloomingdale’s. She lost her wallet while looking for shoes and while she was looking for her wallet, a working came up to her very aggressively and accused her of shoplifting. When my friend explained she was looking for her wallet, the lady went to get security to kick her out. The worker came at her very unprofessional and even after my friend found her wallet and showed the employee, the lady didn’t apologize and still kicked her out.
