Okay, I'm a student on a school trip, and we had to stay in this hotel 4 to a room.I'll be honest, the pictures look much better than the actual room, but I guess I'll give them props for the towel bird (not much props, though). Also, there's no overhead lights. That's normal, I know, but it's still a bit annoying. Now let me talk about the BATHROOM. I had to put a bar of soap under the drain clog in the shower for the first 5 minutes so it'd stay up. Also, I don't think there's a fan to get rid of the moisture, so when you get out after a hot shower, you start sweating. I also saw two ants in the bathroom; one on the shower curtain and one on the floor of the shower. It's not a large bathroom either: This is smaller than my friend's hall bathroom/powder room. The sinks water pressure was very high, and it was difficult to turn on as well. There also wasn't a lot of counter space. That's a personal pet peeve of mine. The breakfast was not very good. There were only apples and bananas, no other fruit. The eggs were very watery, and the potatoes were undercooked. The room was also very cold the whole time. I checked for bed bugs, thank God they didn't have any. All in all, it's liveable, but not almost 4 stars.Nearby activities: Washington D.C. was only 40 minutes away.

Staff is rude and unwelcoming. Don't come here if you're looking for comfort.

The room was clean and very spacious, but I didn't like being put on the 8th floor.

The front desk person last night was very rude. We got there late last night(Wednesday), tired and wanted a room . We were parked in front and my uncle walked to the door (which is usually locked at night). He used the intercom to let her know that we wanted a room , she took one look at my uncle and said there are no rooms available and went back to her phone. So my uncle comes back to tell us there are no rooms available and I was like that’s not true . Online it doesn’t say that(and we didn’t book online because we were right in the area). I have gone to a 7/11 that supposedly opens till 2am and at 12 the door was locked and the employee said that after midnight unless you bought something online he won’t open the door to come in and buy stuff. That’s COMMUNICATION. So if after a certain time you say without online reservations we don’t take walk ins if that is the case (which didn’t seem to be the case when we spoke to someone at the front this morning) we would have understood. So I went online (which was cheaper than walk in anyways) made a reservation and walked back to the door with my uncle , hit the bell to alert her and she was just in the office ignoring us . We went to the website took the phone number and called so many times she wouldn’t come pick up the phone (our reservation was non- refundable) . After standing out in the cold for a while she emerges from the office on her phone. Then finally looks at us , we hit the bell again to let her know we have reservations. She finally lets us in.She knew what she did so by the time we came in this morning she tried leaving a complaint. You guys have cameras everywhere , you can see us standing out there for a while and then you’ll see us entering going to the front desk talking to her , no one fought with anyone nothing happened! My mom told her it’s not her because she doesn’t own the business so if people are unhappy and the business fails , she’ll just go somewhere and get employed, she wouldn’t treat her customers like that if she was the owner . And that we complain of racism and being treated unfairly but it’s our own people. My mom was really pissed and had to say her piece. Feel free to watch the camera , no one did anything . She knew how bad she treated us and tried to get in front of it because she knew we would make a complaint in the morning. You are the front desk personnel, learn how to communicate. We always stay here when in the area but now imagine I tell my friends yeah don’t stay here or post on my social media where I always introduce people to new restaurants, hotels and event places , it would affect you guys whether her as an employee cares or not.“Oh don’t book a place here my friend says they are rude”TREAT PEOPLE BETTER!Nearby activities: Potomac mills mall

I recently tried to get a room. I had a very brief conversation with the gentleman at the front desk at 5:16 this morning and had a few question as this was a last minute situation. The gentleman at the desk was very avbrassive and when I asked his name before we got off the phone he told me I would have to come to the hotel for that. I did. I arrived at the hotel he continued to brush me off and refused to give me his name. All in all a horrific experience. And a problem for any hotel brand.

Extremely low quality hotel at best Western prices. Arrived at 2am exhausted, bought reservation through an app, had extreme difficulty just getting the very surly night attendant to accept that this reservation on my phone means it was paid for. The room was very cold, has a fake panel on the heat/ac so that you will feel like you have control over the temperature but you don't. It is winter and the unit was pushing out cold air. Had the worst night of sleep here that I've had in a long time. And I strongly suspect that this is the kind of place that is going to give me trouble with the security deposit

I stopped here after a VERY long drive. What should have been a 5 hour drive turned into a 12 hour drive! Long story for another time. But I was exhausted and just need a hotel for the night before i returned home. Omar was at the desk and was so kind! He took great care of me. He has the most lyrical voice! I could have listened to him for hours! My room was immaculate, the shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. Best night in a hotel in a long time! I will most certainly stay here again when I am back in the area.Rooms: Clean, comfortable.Safety: Doors are locked at night and require a key for entry.

November 2023 by Let's talk about it
Don't get a room through these people even if you book with third parties. Taniqia thought she was the supervisor for the day and thought she could handle the situation at hand. They require a 200 deposit in which they don't mention. And there rooms aren't worth the 200 hold. If so why are the rooms 80 a night. Just throw the whole hotel in the trash.

The facilities are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the construction is solid which helps cut down on noise. The breakfast is very good with a lots of choices.

Worst experience with a hotel I have ever had. My mom never wants to book on Priceline or maybe ever with a Best Western again. We paid for a booking from Tuesday-Tuesday months in advance for a conference/vacation(it's October we booked in July). When we got here, they told us we'd be kicked out on Saturday because they overbooked. We were in shock and said "we'll be at the conference? How're we supposed to leave at 12?" But they wouldn't budge or change anything. So my mom has to stay here all morning instead of going on vacation. They offered a different room, but the room isnt going to be ready until some other people leave later that same afternoon. Then she went to do laundry- they don't let you charge it to the room and expect you to have 7 dollars in quarters, no bills allowed. They don't have anyway to get quarters, so my mother had to walk to chase bank a couple blocks away & get 2 rolls of quarters to do laundry. At the hotel. Where the minimum we expect is to stay in a room. This feels like an episode of Twilight zone.

Staying here was a nightmare.-the room felt so unclean. Like they might change the sheets and towels and put new toiletries out but that’s it.-the floor was dirty, someone else’s dirty q tips were behind the nightstand, everything was covered in dust.-the walls are PAPER THIN. And both rooms I stayed in had an adjoining door which made that so much worse.-I had to move rooms because my first neighbors were insanely loud.-Ants at breakfast- all around the coffee station. Never got coffee again after seeing that.-found several bugs in the bathtub-Tub falling apart anyway-my first room had dangerously hot water in the sink and shower, really no option for anything but a scalding shower-No microwave available for the room and the mini fridge froze everything-beds feel like pull out couch mattresses-the area around the hotel was also questionableOnly positive: Crystal at the front desk was wonderful and helpful especially when I needed to change rooms.
