February 2024 by Me Me
First I want to say I'm very grateful for Mr. Shuttleworth's help. I still like this bank for a variety of reasons. It's within walking distance from my family's house for one. I was a special ed student for several years as kid and now I have symptoms of end stage cancer - I never mentioned I think I may have cancer to anyone at this bank because its extremely serious and makes me uncomfortable talking about it. I use a cane because sometimes I have a hard time breathing. There's a lot more going on with my health but I'll leave it there. I look like a Very Young Hispanic Girl but I'm really Not any of those things. My surname is Spanish because my grandfather was Filipino and (some) of Filipinos have Spanish names. I turned 43 years old recently on the 13th. One of the women I spoke to recently there was normal and happy toward me until she said my name "Melissa." She said it in a very bizarre low tone. I believe it's 'cause I look very young for my age so she and others there think I'm lying but I'm Not. There's only so much I can say. My dad passed away last Sept from prostate cancer so I got a small inheritance and put it here. It's extremely Unfair when people let me know in their own way that they think I'm lying. All it does is make me very uncomfortable. I still have yet to get my card in the mail so thats another reason I go inside the bank.

Y’all have gone down hill so much since being bought out and Ms. Ping leave. Customer service sucks. Accountability sucks. Providing answers suck. I’m so tired of hearing “that’s not our problem. That’s not our job” yes. Yes it is. You are literally in charge of the money.

Employee doesn’t know what they’re doing specially, that one girl that sits in the front I believe she’s Spanish. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. She is very unprofessional is rude and oral. How do they keep her there?

Extremly unprofessional, I called to inquiry about opening an account, very rude employee Raquel hanged up the phone without letting me finish my concerns. An Employee named Steven did a better job handeling my complaint. I had BBT for years but I think it's time to move on to another bank.

I went to go open an account today & the lady “helping†me open the account didn't really know what she what she was doing & finally when we were done trying to open the account, i noticed she spelled my last name wrong when i even gave her my ID and social card so i dont even know how that could happen so i went back to tell them to fix it & they still spelled my name wrong on the supposed correction sheet where my acc info was on so i had to wait another like 5 minutes for it to be fixed AGAIN & after about 15 minutes they finally got my name right but didn't give me my acc info paper back, so now i'm gonna have to go back to get the paper another day when this all could've been avoided if the lady knew what she was doing. Overall bad experience & a waste of time.

My mother went today 09/18/18 to the BBT bank Mapledale Plaza to request information about her account, and she usually calls me to help her with her English. I had done this many times "No Issues". while she had me on the phone line, I hear the sales represent Name Lashawn BB stating a rude comment about my mother "What she wants" with a tremendous attitude. The lady did not realize that I was on the phone and that I speak English. Then she talked to my mother very rude so unprofessional. This Sales represent Lashawn should learn how to work with various population especially that she is face to face with customers and she represents the bank and needs to improve in how to treat customers and not talking bad or make rude comments believing that the customer would not understand because she could be surprised and be again involved with this issue. A professional customer sale representative represents the bank and needs to learn how to work with customers anytime. Because without any customers she would not have a job. My mother asked Lashawn BB for her name and supervisor's name and she took the paper away from my mother's hands. So rude. Hopefully, this can help others customers, to do not stay quiet and defend themselves when someone is rude to you.

Most unprofessional and untrained people in the bank. They make problems and waste time. Don't have any courtesy and importance for customers. Don't go there are waste time
