** Updated reviewI'm revisiting my review after reading your response to my previous feedback. Unfortunately, I still have concerns regarding my recent experience with Apollo Gymnastics.Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I never received any calls, only automated email messages regarding payment issues without proper explanations. This led me to make multiple attempts to re-enroll my kids, which was frustrating. In the instance where my wife and I reached out, we contacted the front desk directly, and it was the front desk that initiated contact with Jacquie. One major point of frustration was the difficulty we faced with payment. If credit card payments are not accepted over the phone or in person, it creates a significant inconvenience for customers. This limitation, combined with issues related to the online portal, suggests there may be a flaw in the payment system that needs addressing.I would strongly recommend improving communication and making the payment process more user-friendly. The customer experience should be a top priority.Comparatively, I found that Youth Sports Virginia Training Center in the same area offers lower fees and has a higher rating of 4.6 compared to Apollo Gymnastics' 3.7 rating.Lastly, I'd like to note that it took several weeks to receive a response to my initial Google review. Due to the inaccuracies in the response, my confidence in the communication and responsiveness of Apollo Gymnastics has been further diminished.** Previous reviewI recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Apollo Gymnastics, and it was primarily due to the actions of their so-called "manager," Jackie, who single-handedly managed to ruin the entire experience. To say that I'm dissatisfied would be an understatement. To provide some context, I had successfully enrolled my kids in their gymnastic classes in August, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, out of the blue, I discovered that my account had been inexplicably closed, and I was unable to enroll my kids for the Fall classes.Naturally, I reached out to the front desk for an explanation, and they directed me to email Jackie, the manager. I promptly sent an email outlining my concerns and seeking clarification. However, to my dismay, I received no response whatsoever.Frustrated and confused, I decided to call the front desk again to understand the situation better. That's when I was informed that Jackie, the manager, had not only closed my account but had also instructed the staff not to enroll my kids, even if I provided my credit card information over the phone or in person. It is simply astonishing that in a business environment, a manager would opt for such a detrimental course of action rather than making an effort to grow the business and satisfy its customers. This experience marks the first time I've encountered a manager actively hindering business growth and customer satisfaction. Frankly, it's both absurd and highly unprofessional.I was more than willing to continue investing my hard-earned money into this establishment, but their refusal to enroll my kids and the manager's questionable decisions have convinced me that this is not a place that values its customers.I want to make it abundantly clear to the higher-ups in this establishment that I can easily take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other centers that would be more than happy to have my patronage.Adding to my frustration, I attempted to use the same valid credit card that had successfully enrolled my kids in August, so there's simply no reasonable explanation for their inability to process it now.In summary, my experience with Apollo Gymnastics has been nothing short of a nightmare. I strongly urge others to think twice before considering their services, as this is an establishment that appears to prioritize arbitrary decisions over customer satisfaction and growth.I wish I could give this review a zero-star rating, but unfortunately, there is no such option available.

My daughter started at this gym when she was 2 and ended up in their developmental program. The coaches are amazing. They are great with communicating with parents. The office staff always called me when there was any issues with my kid. The owner was always very approachable with any questions or concerns I ever had. Highly recommend.

I'm interested for my granddaughter, so I went in for a look-see. The front desk receptionist was very pleasant. She answered all my questions and allowed me to have a look at the gymnastics floor. I'll be visiting again soon with my granddaughter.

I highly recommend Apollo Gymastics to anyone seeking for a gym. The facility is great and state of the art!All Coaches ensure your kids safety at all times. Been to a few gyms, Apollo Coaches hands down care about the Safety of the kids and not just pushing the kids through training. One mention in particular, Coach Wellington - he defintely deserves many appreciation and accolades. He knows how to get the best out of my daughter and pushes her to be better everyday he's with her. You can tell, he really cares for those girls!

I registered my daughter for 9 weeks class, i did not have a satisfaction to give the center an excellent review for different reasons below:1. The instructor who suppose to work with the kids to bring their skills up, busy most of time playing with her phone.2. Instructor or/and center did not follow up with parents during the program and after the program too.3. Discovered later the i instructor left the center and missed the last class with the kids without any notice from center to parent.4. No evaluation or follow up when the clss ended.5. When we did the evaluation they said your daughter need to back again to same class before she go to the next level as she missed some points during the evaluation by another instructor and when i asked my daughter she said we did not practice that before. I told the evaluator that if she did not go to next level because you did not meet the goals you put for the class as you prepare the skills and develop it for them.Summary, waste my daughter and my time and my money as they care about payments only.

Besides the 3.5 rating, I thought this gymnastics school would be promising for my daughter, because there are some good reviews and it was her first time. They also have a free trial class, granted my daughter hasn't been in any sports etc and she just turned 5... she's still in Vpk and is STILL learning to follow directions and listen. She's very active and loves to be creative and is hands on with learning. I get it all teachers are all different, but at the same time the staff should follow their promotion; 'guide your child as they learn the social and physical skills that will help them throughout their life.' It also says on the website 'they will acquire patience...' With that being stated, one of the staff members being Ms. Madison should of talked with me instead of the other teacher, Coach Natalie and front desk clerk about which class she recommends for my daughter. We could of talked for a brief couple of moments before her next class about how my daughter was upset; and how we could better assist her in being more confident as a team. She felt like she could not ‘get it right' in her words and was frustrated. I really did not appreciate how the matter was handled. If Apollo school is wanting potential students it is most important to make a good impression on the parents. Being that we pay to assist in keeping the building open and the staff to assist in our children's growth and aspirations. I am grateful for being able to see how some of your staff favors certain students instead of giving all children fair one on one time whether advance or not. If this is a prestigious school then should not the staff members conduct themselves in a certain manner? I'd rather not waste my time in coming back, I hope that next time there is a potential student that things are handled professionally. That is all.

My son has been doing gymnastics at Apollo for 14 years. This place has made his dreams come true and he will be competing this fall for the University of California Berkeley on the Men’s Gymnastics team. Gymnastics is a tough sport , but it also teaches life lessons, persistence, and goal structure that also transfers to academics. He will be majoring in Pre med Cellular Biology. The coaches here are some of the best in the Industry. I want to thank Apollo for all the wonderful years you have given me and my son. ? Go Bears!

Horrible policies to not allow parents to view their child’s class and to make children wear masks at all let alone while doing a sport.

Parents be advised: Avoid Apollo Gymnastics if at all possible. Management is generally disrespectful of parents (I have multiple examples over a two year period) and coaching is subpar. Because I posted a negative (though truthful) review of this gym on Google.com, the gym administrator “assumed [we] would not be re-enrolling for next season.”, but failed to tell us this for about a week until we [unfortunately] tried to re-enroll our daughter (she insisted despite our advice). A very passive-aggressive act on the part of this administrator. Why not act like an adult and just ask about the review? Or seek to clarify intent to re-enroll? I guess they don’t get that a gymnast might want to remain at a gym like this even though the parents know it’s not a good investment/experience for them. The fact that this place could choose to not allow a young gymnast to re-enroll after 2 years time invested due to a simple not-positive Google Review indicates how much this place really cares about its gymnasts. This is especially unnerving due to the mental anguish our young gymnasts can go through. This all has a silver lining, though. Our daughter is now a member of a gym that cares about the gymnasts and is coached and guided by active/challenging coaches. We are so glad to be free of the toxicity that is Apollo Gymnastics. Parents should be very skeptical before trusting this place has your gymnasts’ interests at heart. We are not the only parents that feel this way…others are just too scared to speak up.Additionally, a few weeks ago, this gym also notified parents they must pay for meets (hundreds of dollars extra) in which their children did not compete (paying for meets for other children in different levels of competition). We paid our share for the appropriate level, not for others.

They're an average gymnastics center. It's not easy to get the staff to return phone calls or reply to emails. The coaches are fair to midland.

Amazing facility and really great program for boys. The coaches have a good command of the team - the boys respect the coaches and all seem to really enjoy being at the gym. It has become a second family for our son and we appreciate everything Apollo has to offer. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a boys program...we have been to other gyms and this is by far, the best.
