Molly Maid threatened me with small claim court by phone today for the negative review I wrote. So let me clarify. I informed Molly Maid that I currently have a cleaning service that comes in once a month. They did a deep clean and have been servicing my house for at least four months. My husband and I and clean between their visits. I am looking for a another cleaning service since the one I'm currently uses keeps changing their arrival times on me. When I called Molly Maid, I explained this to them and said the cleaning time usually takes an hour and a half. I asked how much they charged for a one time cleaning service that should take no more than 1 1/2 hours ( One master bedroom with a very small bathroom with only a shower, one spare bedroom that is never used so just needed to be vacuumed and dusted, living area and kitchen ) with the possibly of a future monthly service and was told about $140 for the cleaning. The 2 ladies arrived at my house on time and were very friendly. I signed some forms which I honestly did not look at thoroughly that just gave them permission to charge my credit card. When they were not done after an hour and a half, they asked me to initial a form that said I was allowing them to continue working. I did this because I wanted to see how good of a job they did. I assume that even if they took another hour and a half the charge would be $280. Well the cleaning job took three hours and they charged me $424. I found this to be an outrageous amount and called them to ask why the amount was so high. They claimed that they were now charging me $140 per hour since it was a one time claim and that I had signed a document allowing them to charge my credit card for $140 per hour. I made the huge mistake of not reading the document before I signed it. I was told it was a document that allowed them to charge my credit card and I trusted that it was $140 for the hour and a half. Huge misunderstanding on both of our parts. Upon finishing the cleaning the ladies asked me to look around to make sure I was happy with the job. When I was looking around it was when I was in the bedroom that they showed me that a German lighthouse that I had was broken and that the chimney had broken off. She claimed it was somebody else who had done that but they were letting me know that it was broken. Bottom line is, I feel that I was misled as to having a charge of $140 for the hour and a half when it was really per hour. When they told me after an hour and a half that they weren't finished I needed more time I did not believe it was going to take them another hour and a half to finish and I was never told the total price of $424 when I agreed to the extra time. Again miscommunication on everybody's part. I am not happy with this miscommunication and misunderstanding between us and will not be using them again.

I hired Molly Maid to do move-in townhouse cleaning (the unit had already had a baseline cleaning). After showing up over an hour late, and then taking 2 1/2 hours to complete, the job they did was subpar. There was dirt and grim in the dishwasher, the oven had stains and grease that weren't cleaned, baseboards, mirrors, glass, and more still had dirt/dust/streaks on them... There were cobwebs in many of the corners still (both on the ceiling and on the floorboards). I'm not actually sure what I paid for. They did do a nice job vacuuming though, so that's a plus. I ended up having to hire an additional cleaning service to come in and finish up what they apparently only started. I wouldn't recommend Molly Maid to anyone who's looking to get a 'clean' house.

My husband and I hired Molly Maid for a move-in cleaning. They did such an amazing job, we signed up for regular service. They are terrific! We love the way our house looks every time!

I am completely disappointed with the service and the manager's response. She hung up on me when I inquired about the staff who was over an hour late. When I wrote a review on Google she responded asking that I call. I called and she disputed every point and defended/disputed everything. There's no excuse for paying $300 for a move out cleaning and have an odor of dirty mop/water in the home and food still in the pre cleaned freezer. No excuse at all! There was a language barrier, but clean is universal. The cleaners kept stopping work to say they needed more time. It was a money grab. The only thing the manager Carmen suggested was to come back to do the job. I told her repeatedly I sold the home! She refused to give me the franchisee's info and once again hung up on me again when I pressed her for the info. I will contact the franchisee, but have a feeling the email provided for her is fraudulent.

Molly Maid Woodbridge was good until they weren't! If you hold this cleaning team accountable for doing a good job "every time" -- they will cancel your service!!! After being a long-standing customer Woodbridge Molly Maid began to lack in quality -- when I held them (Carmen & Kate) accountable they canceled my service on 13 Nov 20) I always tipped my team 15-20% but when they became lax I complained (with pics). The new team showed up 3 hours late. No one contacted me. Again, I expect good customer service so I held this franchise accountable - for not communicating with - just call or text. Simple. I just received a letter cancelling my service. Even though they are due to return next week. ... before Thanksgiving! This is not professional! Use another Molly Maid or other service altogether.

I had Molly Maids of Woodbridge for a few years. It was not great. Their lead knew my house and made sure her second team member did a good job. But... too often they were late to arrive due to morning meetings without giving me a heads up. Also, after promising me they'd make my house their first stop and never come before 8 am, they added one before mine. So I'd be waiting between 8 am and 11:30 am some times for them to arrive. The head office was routinely defensive. I called to complain I'd been waiting for hours and the team had not shown up. They responded by raising my bi-weekly rate by 32% a few days later. Everything is the customer's fault with Carmen and Veronica who work the main office. They changed the office main email and did not update their customers and acted annoyed when calls were made about unanswered emails. I found a new service for a better price through my neighbors and I can't recommend the Woodbridge office of Molly Maids.

Been using Molly Maid for a few years now and couldn't be happier. Same crew comes for every appointment and they are friendly, quick, and careful. Never had them break or damage anything. Very friendly to all our animals and guests. With covid19 they started showing up with masks and gloves as part of their standard procedure. The absolute smallest of niggling issues: - Certain areas, like side tables, have to be "re-ordered". But typing this out makes it seem very pedantic even to myself! - They are usually around the same time each visit but occasionally have been a few hours earlier or later. Not a big deal as I was working from home pre-covid19 anyway.
