Just bought a bag of pretzels to enjoy on my lunch break, ate a couple and realized they didn’t taste right. Turns out they expired 5 months ago. Disgusting!!

This place isn't that great. Go to the shell station next door. I've never met the Cj guy with tattoos people are talking about but I believe what i'm reading. There is a lady named Brenda or Brandy. I've stopped by Simmons Market twice now and both times this woman was standing outside smoking cigarettes. She's very rude and made me repeat myself several times and she took her merry time coming back in the store from her cigarette breaks. That woman seems to have problems and I don't think many people like her very much. I've heard a lot of negativity about this Simmons Market place (including negativity about the owner Gregory) saying they have no manners and are disrespectful. It's all true. The shell station next door isn't much better, but I would definitely stop there over Simmons Market any day.

Simmons Market is a good little market but ignore the guy Jason Hurt that works here. He talks/brags too much and people say he's weird.

I've been coming to this Simmons market off and on for a very long time. When I lived in North Carolina before I moved to Roanoke I used to come here when I was in the area. It used to be called "Buzz in" Some people are still writing reviews for Buzz In instead of writing reviews here.This place is very convenient and the staff are nice. There's one little kid that another reviewer mentioned named "Cj" who works here. He's got all kinds of tattoos. I haven't seen him lately here but hes weird. Just ignore him if he talks to you.. I came in one time and he asked if I had a girlfriend and I told him I was married. He replied "I doubt that.." then told me "show me your wife's picture". I told him I didn't have my wife's picture on my phone and he laughed and asked "You're lying, aren't you". I just ignored him after he handed me my change and walked out. Cj is one of the weirdest kids I've ever met. That's one really farrrrrrr out kid doubting someone he doesn't even know has a wife.... He would doubt anything if he would doubt I have a wife when he don't even know me. He's probably some kind of conspiracy theorist or something.

I've stopped by this Simmons Market at least 5 times when going towards the lake. Ordered a "Clux Deluxe" chicken sandwich here once. It was labeled spicy. Wasn't spicy at all.

Chicken is way too salty and the eggs from deli either deviled or in salads, are mostly rotten and slimy! No place to eat inside like it used to be. Need more deli help at lunch time.
