Y'all, I went last weekend and Amy knew as soon as I had finished shopping that I hadn't used a gift certificate from TWO YEARS AGO. I had lost it moving things around after having a fire in my living room. I wasn't going to say anything about it, cause anybody could say "I had a gift certificate". Amy knew and allowed me to use the lost one and keep the one I had (from last year)in my pocket.If this isn't a good enough reason to shop small and local and far superior quality over the box stores, then I don't know what is! Not to mention they wouldn't have cared if I lost my gift certificate, much less knew soon as they saw me. Thank you Windhaven and the Edwards family.

Beef is wonderful! I've purchased stew meat, tri-tip roast and ground round. They're usually open one Saturday a month.

I all can say is the Truth. Excellent, Excellent and Excellent.Excellent people. Very down to earth. Very well versed in their product. Excellent location. Hidden in green pastures. Very Healthy cattle in the pastures grazing. And yes. The product. Our porterhouse steak. One of the best I've ever eaten, If not the Best. I've had Wagyu beef not as tender as this bite was. The color and the fat content, with all the marbling, looked like a road map. The strip part was just as tender as the filet. Package very professionally. But the flavor was like eating irish butter. So rich and juicy. I really enjoyed it. I'll never buy another steak from Food Lion,if I can continue getting this extreme excellent quality beef. Never had a steak where both sides of the bone were so very tender.

A rare and fun place to get high quality local meat. The folks are really nice and also very knowledgeable about the meat.The place is fun, the folks are friendly, and the meat tastes absolutely fantastic.The prices are also really good too!
