I don't understand the reviews that give this Wells Fargo Bank branch bad reviews. I've been in that branch a number of times and always got good service. Wesley is a banker you can count on to handle whatever you need done the right way. He's courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and gives good advice. I've never had a problem. The tellers are very good also.

Second time I've been here and last experience was worse than the first. Staff are rude, condescending and unwilling to help. Wesley suggested I open a new account to resolve my issue and I say if I do, it won't be with Wells Fargo and he says "That's fine with me." How is this good business?

ONLY BECAUSE OF WESLEY ARE YOU GETTING 3 STARS.. I WANT TO GIVE ZERO!IF IT was not for Wesley, I would give this bank (WF) the lowest.I had appt to do something critical.Person did not come in. (Day after 4th, really???)My number was not logged on appt thing since someone else made it for me (WF employee). So I got no call or no email. To say I was not happy would be understatement. Wesley totally stepped up to the plate... and did all he could to help me. Which then led to a nightmare, but not Wesley's fault.(He was on phone with headquarters, trying to help me)... and... I cannot say anymore. But, if I am still a WF customer next year, grab a frying pan, and slap me upside my head!

There are never any cars in the parking lot yet they have been unable to answer their phone for 3 consecutive business days.

Wells Fargo customer service level has dropped to an all time low. You can no longer walk into a branch and speak to a banker. You have to schedule an appointment. But if you go to the website, the earliest appointment is a month away. After finally getting time to speak to a banker about reestablishing an LLC business account for my family that was frozen when my aunt passed away, I was rudely interrupted by another banker telling me we could not talk anymore. They already had the death certificate proving she had passed, but they were out of compliance in that they setup the account incorrectly in the first place. But they did not consider that their problem, but rather proceeded to place multiple road blocks in our way to get the account reopened. For example, they never returned phone calls that I placed asking what documents they needed to reopen the account. So I worked with our lawyer to get the documents needed. And then when I scheduled a meeting to go through those documents, they wanted more because they failed to save the documents used to originally establish the account. They put their failed compliance obligations on me to correct. They also lost the copy of the death certificate we had given them a month earlier. Finally, they refused to reopen the account unless everyone appeared in person to sign because they don't offer eSign services from a branch. They wanted me to go online and setup a new account rather than deal with keeping the existing account. At this point, I simply opened an account at First Bank of Winchester, withdrew the cash from Wells Fargo, and I am now a happy First Bank customer. What is amazing about First Bank is that I was able to walk into the branch and speak with a banker immediately and without an appointment. The account setup process was fast and easy, and they offered eSign services for the LLC members that could not come in person due to illness.Wells Fargo has completely forgotten what customer service means, and I will continue to pull my other accounts away from Wells Fargo when possible.

Wesley is very rude and not helpful. Had an attitude the whole time. Tricia was very kind and helpful.

The staff was literally so rude the last time I went in that I no longer want to bank with Wells Fargo. They already have ridiculous fees for every little thing AND I'm going to feel bullied by the workers? No thanks. I'm going to a local bank. It's literally not that hard to be kind to the people that come to your business, I don't care how busy you are.

This is just a really bad branch and always has been. Anybody competent doesn't seem to work here very long. Every trip inside seems to take 30 minutes for simple transactions. Honestly a lot of the branches are this way. The saving grace is they have online banking and a lot of convenient locations.

I was told even we can't help you with out an apt. Even though the bank completely empty of customers. Instead she went back to her phone as she was talking to me. This place is rude

PROS: The teller was nice, welcoming, and sensitive to the fact that we had shown up an hour and a half before closing. She proceeded to offer us a seat and see if she could figure out if there were any appoints that would impede us from being helped before closing.CONS:With an hour and ten minutes still to closing, Wesley, the only banker on staff, finished with the client before us and immediately seemed to not be very interested in helping us. I opened with asking if he had 15 minutes to open a joint checking account for a family member and I. His only answer to that was to correct me in that a checking account would take more than 15 minutes to setup. He did not bother to ask what brought us in, he did not ask what we were trying to achieve with opening a bank account at Wells Fargo, nor any other questions that would've helped him understand why we were visiting the bank that day. All this would've helped both parties understand if a proper appointment was warranted, if there was a better banking tool for the job, or anything else to make it a positive encounter. After requesting our IDs to start opening the account, I began to ask questions that would help me as a customer understand if opening the checking account was going to achieve the ease of transferring that we were looking for to another family member who does bank with Wells Fargo. In the end, opening a checking account was NOT going to achieve any additional ease over using Zelle. Wesley gladly let us walk out of there without winning our business. This all to say that Wesley was not welcoming, did not have any interest in understanding the customer's need, and was not sensitive to the reason we had come in that day.FINAL THOUGHTS: Would not go to this branch or for that matter bank with Wells Fargo if this is the type of experience they as a company foster.

I had a problem with someone using my debit card while I was not in the state it was being used in. I got an alert email saying I needed to call and verify the transaction. I called and was told to go into any local branch. However there was no branch in the state I was in. So I went through Virginia to Winchester to the branch there. I was directed to a Mrs. Perez who handled everything that was in question effectively. I don't know how the other people in that branch were. But from my experience I can assure you that from the moment I walked through the door to the conclusion of my business there that I was treated with the most positive , pleasant and professional manner anyone could ever have experienced. Therefore, I give my experience there a high level of excellence as the woman who assisted me was pleasant and very understanding as well as knowledgeable about her job as a personal banker. Wished that the banks in SW Florida were half as accommodating and friendly as the people in northern Va. were. I would certainly make for a much friendly experience and pleasant day for all. This location was 2490 Valley Avenue in Winchester Va.

These ratings and reviews don't reflect at all the experience I've had at this Wells Fargo location. My husband and I opened an account here since we're newly married and wanted to consolidate everything. We were promptly waited on by both teller and banker who told us what we would need to do to start an account. Solomon was the banker who helped us set up our accounts. He was very pleasant and made nice conversation while working efficiently. He explained everything to us in a way we both were able to understand and encouraged us to ask any questions we had. He had an educated answer for our questions. We've been back to see him three times since our first encounter and every time has been the same. I also dealt with another banker about a debit card and he was the same as Solomon: pleasant, educated, and efficient. I've been very impressed with my experiences with Wells Fargo and highly recommend them.

Rude people work here. Also the ATM never seems to work properly. I love my Wells Fargo account and going to the Old Town location. This branch is actually closer to my business but I would rather travel to deal with polite people than use this location ever again.

On the mortgage side, they are always sending escrow shortage yearly. I have never had this experience with any other mortgage I have had. Then I went and paid the shortage and I paid with cash. I should have received $3.09 in change. The cashier gave me only $.09 in change. I told her that she owed me more change and she did not want to give it to me as she had already put it in her system. She was not nice from the beginning of me stepping in her line. I would never have my actual accounts here and will look into changing mortgage companies.
