This was my first time staying at Tru. This review is only qualified as it is only my stay. I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical with my expectations but the hotel turned out to be much better than expected. While the room had a certain distinctive layout, it was the overall vibe of the hotel that was appealing. It truly (no pun) seemed geared towards families. It was an appealing hotel that surpassed my expectations.

Dawn and Marlin exhibited stellar customer service skills, going the extra mile to serve what appeared to be several baseball teams and their parents. They were efficient, professional and unflappable as they attended to everyone’s needs, each with a positive demeanor. Thanks!
Rooms: New, fully modern rooms with all amenities, handicapped rooms
Safety: Very safe area, new hotel
Food & drinks: Good breakfast with variety, but pancake machine was slow

Nice, clean room. Very typical of a TRU hotel. Not many frills but what you need for a short stay. This one has a pool table, needs to be re felted, where most I have been to have foosball tables. I found it odd that there were ear plugs in the room and the lobby. I then realized that the hotel sits right next to a train track and got worried. I was woken up once in the early morning, 5amish, by a train whistle but that was the only one I heard.
Overall perfect little hotel for 1 or 2 night stays.

Rooms are basic...Nice TV, decent bed, & in good shape. Overall clean, but there was some mildew on the shower door.
Front desk attendants were completely oblivious. On their phones and slumped over. Not friendly or welcoming.
Location...Great for traveling, but with the proximity to the highway, there is outdoor noise.

Service didn’t apply here. Tru deserves to be associated with Hilton!

Noteworthy details: Comfortable lobby setting for breakfast and any other gatherings you may have to get out of the room.
