“PepBoys quoted me for $2500 worth of repairs on my car to pass inspection. I took it to AAMCO for a second opinion and they came back, told me that 1. None of those repairs needed to be done for my car to pass inspection and 2. They had overcharged me for parts that weren't necessary. They had the state trooper come in and personally look at my car to ensure it would pass inspection and managed to drop me from $2500 down to $20 for an inspection and $10 to get a screw out of my tire, all while being very friendly and educational about anything I didn't know. Ricky clearly showed me where PepBoys had quoted me for a part and an assembly (that comes with the part). The staff was caring, honest, and had that local friendliness that you won't get from other garages. I know where I'll be taking my car for repairs in the future.”
