Ordered on line for in store pickup at THIS store. Computer sent half my order to a Target 20 miles away. Guess I was supposed to run back and forth. Lucky I caught that by minutely inspecting my digital receipt. Had to take the time to make a second order for it here. Went to pick up my stuff. Some of it was missing. They didn't know why. THey sent a gal to get the 2 shorted bottles of Diet Coke. Guess she was too stupid to find the Coke aisle. Guy is standing in the pouring rain waiting for her. I finally told him to just cancel them because he was getting really wet. At least they finally had a candy item which was my 5th attempt to buy. They shorted me one of the two Marie Calendar pot pies. I wonder what the other person is supposed to have for dinner. It is too much stress to shop with target in any way. Run the other way.

There is nothing positive to say about this Target. Some Targets are large and clean and well-stocked; this is not one of them. Be very careful with sell-by dates in the grocery department. SO many items are expired, and not by just a day or two. Employees are dimwitted, mouth-breathing hicks. This location finally, finally got self-checkout lanes, but they don't accept or dispense cash, so no cash-back transactions. If you're purchasing wine or beer, just go to a lane with a cashier so you don't have to wait 15 minutes for an employee to check your ID. That's not all that easy, however, since there is usually ONE (if you're lucky) checkout lane with an actual person working a register. Lots of bare shelves; lousy selection; employees, including management, who don't know what they're doing. Stop by for a drive-up order pickup and experience nasty, confrontational employees who will tell you off if you ask them to use your car's passenger side for the bags. I live near this Target but drive all the way to the Leesburg Target for a decent experience.

I have never left a negative review in my life. Generally, I have a rule to only leave good reviews and positive vibes out there. Life is hard. However, I left target today in shock. I had been waiting in the parking lot for over an hour to pick up my order. The check in app said it would be awhile. I consider myself to be pretty patient. After all, I didn't call ahead... after an hour mark had passed, though, and so many vehicles had come and gone, I decided to call the store and ask if my order was ready or if there was a mistake. I was kind on the phone to the gentleman and he was kind back. I told the man on the phone that I would happily come back but couldn't continue to wait any longer. He stated the order was missed and that he would send it right out. I was grateful. There is so much to do on Sunday... I opened my trunk for the delivery person. The lady that brought my order asked for the code. I said thanks and gave her the code. She then looked at me (frustratedly) and stated she looked in my spot and I wasn't there. I explained that I had watched her for over an hour and reassured her that I had been there. She shook her head "no" at me. I said yes, I've been here. It's ok, but I've been here. She kept shaking her head and telling me "no ma'am". She then stated that they had been calling all around to other targets looking for me... perhaps, she should have looked in spot seven once more. Sometimes we all miss things. No one is perfect. I told her again, I was had been there in that spot the whole time. I parked and pulled up the app, marked spot seven, and, didn't move. She refused to believe me and basically after not seeing me in spot number seven felt it was my fault she had missed me. I continued to be kind but she was adamant that I had been gallivanting around town like a joke. I was astounded. I had expected her to say, what I would and have said as an employee working in customer service. (My expectations were not met.) To me, she should have said, "sorry, I missed your order and didn't see you. You waited an extraordinary amount of time. Sorry again. I hope you have a good evening," something along those lines. Instead, when I'm the customer I heard, "you gallivanting, lying, invisible, woman." What target? What? Really? That is not what I expected. JM

After multiple "tries" for this location, my final decision is to steer clear. I've read other reviews which state to cut the place some slack due to high customer volume. I simply can't wrap my head around that "logic". The problem here seems to stem from a general lack of care. Of any kind. Not that they're just swamped and being totally helpful to other customers. No one greets you? Who cares. No one asks if you need assistance? What's your point? Can't find what you're looking for? So what. Place is filthy? Yawn. The associates are busy gabbing with one another, and actively avoiding eye contact, lest they have to actually engage in a conversation with someone they don't want to. There is no personal responsibility. When I go into a place like Walmart, I know what I'm getting. Target, however, likes to church things up. So, it's very misleading to the general public when the store preaches about how we should "expect more". More what, exactly? Pandering? Invisibility? Disgusting and sticky surfaces throughout the store? Bored associates, not wanting to do the job they're paid for? The "more" isn't what I had in mind, so personally, I'll take my money elsewhere.

Having lived in Winchester for quite some time, this Target is what we jokingly refer to as "The Good Target" (The one on Legge Blvd being the bad one). I see a lot of reviews that point out one bad experience, and yes I can see why that can leave a bad taste in your mouth, but given the volume of people that work here I don't want to judge the whole store one a few bad apples (yes I've had a couple bad experiences too). My overall experiences here have been great. The store is always neat and clean and I rarely have a hard time finding the things I want to. Even if I do, there's always someone around that I'm able to ask for help. I've chatted with the manager a few times who has always been super friendly to me. The pharmacy inside this store cannot be beat. The pharmacist, Carrie, and all the staff are amazing. Overall, I almost always leave here happy.

This is my favorite Target! Never crowded, always stocked (well, almost always), and the associates are always very nice. The store is very clean and well lit.
