It is a great shelter to adopt animals specifically cats, adoption fee is around 100, sometimes they have insane “deals” around the holidays, like 15 for valentines.Their adoption process and paperwork is straight forward and easy to understand. Most cats are spayed/neutered, you can and should visit to see all available critters both new and old.You get a complementary vet check-up at select locations.Their vaccines are usually up to date, so not much is needed.Overall 10/10Think about joining the board

Did you know that the ASPCA of Winchester, Virginia, only saves animals in the city of Winchester? Neither did we until we tried to contact them about a feral cat colony that needed help and we were rudely rejected by a woman who expressed no concern or interest in helping these poor, starving, defenseless animals. Apparently, living one foot or more outside the city limits means that you cannot call the ASPCA to help. They are happy to take your food and money donations though, regardless of where you live. SMH.

I can never say enough about the ladies that work or volunteer there. Always quick efficient and above all else friendly. Whether I need assistance with food or with a medical question for my fur babies,I know they are only a call away.

I love the cat room where you are free to play and touch the animals. The dogs are more so depressing to see in their cages, just barking away, waiting and begging for a home. It's too sad, but I'm glad places like this exist for them. It's an overall wonderful place because they're helping these beautiful babies.

I called to surrender my cats that I found cause I rent and they are in heat every 2 weeks and are spraying way too much so a nice lady told me to call back to get help so I can keep them but when I called the lady that answered did not care and will not help so now I have to get rid of my 2 cats all because I can't get them fixed when they fix stray cats for free all the time not cool
