We purchased a Shih Tuz from here and he is such a joy. He was 12 weeks old when we purchased him almost 2 months ago. He was very shy at first but after a few days he made this his home and he knows he is the boss. He still has accidents sometimes in the floor but for the most part he uses his puppy pads. We are still trying to train him to go to the bathroom outside. He is so smart he gives us his paw when we ask for it. He loves playing with his toys and he does try to bite right now because he's still a baby and teething. We took him to the vet and they said he's in good health. He was such a good boy at the vet. He has an appointment to get his hair cut this weekend. I'm so glad we purchased him he is such a joy and I love him so much. He is a part of our family now. He sleeps in his bed or on the sofa in the day and at night he sleeps with mommy and daddy. He is just the sweetest little baby.

Went in with my 3 year old and asked the front lady if my daughter could pet one of the puppies or at least play with it. We picked one out and my daughter was about to reach in to pet it and she says very rudely oh no don't stick your hand in there. When we asked 2 seconds before this and she said yes. How are you supposed to pick out a puppy if you can't even interact with it??? Lost my business for sure.

I purchased a Great Dane here during Covid. I didn't come in there to buy a Great Dane but rather something smaller. They walked me through details about the breed and if I can handle the size of the dog it was more of what I needed. They didn't sell me the most expensive dog, they sold me the one that my needs. Words can not begin to express how thankful I am to the employees here for their recommendations and introducing me to a dog that has changed my life and my family.

Disgusting that this place even exists… there are so many dogs at shelters who need homes who are going to be put down because the shelters are over populated. Do a little bit of research and there are companies who rescue full bred dogs that need homes! Adopt don’t shop

I am appalled that a puppy was sold to my elderly father, Phil Lowery, who doesn't have the ability to care it. This may actually be the final straw to contact adult protective services about him. This poor puppy will never see the outside because I know he expects it to use piddle pads only. He can barely walk and has no fenced yard. This business must have zero ethics, much less any concern for the welfare of their animals. Only concerned about money. I hope you have a good return policy.

Puppy City in Winchester exceeded all expectations during our recent visit. The friendly staff warmly greeted us upon arrival and provided clear guidelines for a memorable experience. The puppies were well-cared for, with spacious enclosures and constant interaction. The efficiency of the process ensured a quick and seamless selection.

I purchased my first puppy ever from this place on Dec 3, 2022. I was a little frustrated with the process this company had in place when your puppy might have any issues. However, even though my puppy had Giardia, this company reimbursed me for all medical tests and medication needed to aid in my puppy’s health. Tom, the owner, was very nice once I got a chance to speak with him directly. — I have since referred two people who wants puppies to purchase from this place.

We were looking for a "Yorkie" and there he was... such a sweet puppy, born January 30th. It's always hard to see the puppies in their plexiglass "cages" but this place makes every effort to keep their areas clean, talks to the different pups, etc. The set up for the space is well constructed for staff to go up a set of steps above the cages for feeding, cleaning, etc, but can also access each one from the front. There are also sectioned areas provided for interested parties to hold the puppy of interest and give special attention, have discussions, etc. Purchases can happen different ways, either payment in full or with a credit app for payment plans. Upon leaving with your puppy, you are given a "care package" of a cage with a bag of food, a toy, two bowls, small bag of treats, etc. Additionally the purchase is treated as a contract, with info provided of vets in the area, signing up your pup for the AKC, 30 days insurance and the pup is already ID'd internally. Resource numbers are provided for additional assistance. Also provided is where the puppy came from so you are aware of who provided the care prior to the puppy being delivered to the shop.

This place is the best. Absolute top notch service. They far exceeded my expectations of a puppy store, and I can not recommend them highly enough. 6 stars+. Love our little Beabull.

How much does it cost to do a playdate with the puppies if it does cost anything because I always wanted to do a play date with them because I’ve always hear good things about puppy city but never knew how much it cost to do a play date with them !!!

We got a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Puppy City on December 10th..First thing I noticed as soon as I walked into the store was the clean smell. A lot of pet stores have a certain “pet smell”.. This one didn’t. The store also looked very clean...The pet enclosures looked clean. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable and sharp. I can’t remember her name, otherwise I’d definitely recommend her. The other employees we encountered were fine too. We took our puppy to our veterinarian for her initial physical a couple of days ago. There were no problems found. She’s healthy. All in all, I am definitely very happy with our puppy purchase. She is an absolute sweetheart. Melts the hearts of everyone who meets her with those expressive eyes and wonderful temperament.. Btw, don’t automatically believe the negative reviews. Be aware of what is being said, but see the store and puppies with your OWN eyes.. Judge for yourself.

My kids always look forward to stopping by. Our dog at home is up there in age so we like to see what other breeds are like. Tom and his staff have always been welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be buying at Puppy City when the time is right for us.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service and treatment of customers. My family visited Puppy City for my mothers birthday in hopes of adding a new member to the family. While looking around, the staff working SCREAMED at my mother for trying to pick up a puppy. The staff also failed to inform anyone of their rules or guidelines upon entering the building. Absolutely NO communication from staff. We were told after holding 2 puppies and hoping to play with a 3rd there was a rule that you could only visit with 2 puppies. Puppies are crammed into pens and cages with up to 5 at a time and do not receive any interaction until a customer walks in. We’ve purchased a puppy from this store in the past and never received such horrible treatment. Overall, this was a terrible experience and I would not recommend anyone visit Puppy City in Winchester.
