One thing I personally like with Intentional Accounting is responding to any questions in a quick and timely manner. Also, they took extra time with me to collaborate and research on a state document which resulted in changing all tax returns. They were completed in less than 24 hours and made the tax deadline.

I have continuously used them for my personal and business finance. A fantastic job of providing me insightful strategies to retain more of my dollar in the end. I highly recommend using them, or at least hearing what they have to offer.

Intentional Accounting went above and beyond to help me find deductions and new ways to lower my tax bill. To put that into context, they saved me $50k over what I thought I'd owe. I would call that incredible work. Would highly recommend using Intentional Accounting if you are a business owner, self employed 1099, etc.

I am extremely disappointed with Intentional Accounting's handling of my tax return this year. They have been tardy in responding, inaccurate in my taxes, and extremely hard to get a hold of. I do not recommend anyone use this company.

Do not go here. They would not communicate back with me, so I filed my tax return with H&R block online service the night taxes were due. A week later this company calls me to say they filed my taxes. Not only did they file my taxes without me reviewing them, they filed for the wrong state and now I'm battling the State Tax dept for overdue taxes and fees for a State I don't file in. Working with this company was nothing but a headache, money drain, and time suck. Don't go here.

This place is a complete joke.Do not get your accounting done here.I came here with a simple tax return with my wife.Amount charged was obscene but we rolled with itIt took 6 weeks to file a regular simple standard tax return. Our CPA is completely incompetent. Our tax documents did not even get printed, handed or explained to us. Most importantly, they could not even file our taxes with our correct address!- even after we corrected them multiple times. All work is done through some bs box system. All papers have a do not mail water mark on them.Avoid this service and these unprofessional garbage people at all costs.This is a horrible business and should be shut down immediately. Losers!

Will never use these people again!!Very disappointed in Intentional Accounting in Winchester, Va. I owed state tax and told Joel Smith not to have tax payment auto debited out of my account. Instead I paid state tax online with payment coupon. Despite that my checking account was auto debited again for the tax payment.So i had paid the tax twice. Now i have to wait 3 weeks to get the duplicate payment back. The communication is very poor. This has caused a lot of problem for me.

We are a non-profit organization that conducts several events annually to raise funds for various charities. We reached out to Michael Callahan Accounting to help with tax preparation due to a large donation amount that went through our account in 2019. This money was in support of a retired Navy Seal that was in a horrific car accident. We raised over $130,000.00 for this individual to help pay for medical expenses. Michael Callahan's team was very professional, helpful and made us feel like we were a million dollar organization! Special thanks to Joel Smith who was our point of contact for services. Joel has been very helpful and has been a pleasure to work with. We have since signed on with the Michael Callahan team and they have help us with 2018, and 2020 taxes as well. Looking forward to a long relationship with MCA!!
