This place is trash. I put my car in for service on Thursday and advised that I will pick up Friday and 2 of the technicians confirmed Friday would be a good pick up day NO ONE IS WORKING FRIDAY. ALL ONLINE SHOWS FRODAY WORK HOURS AS 7-4PM. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. JUST LIKE OTHER COMMENTS BELOW THESE GUYS GOT VALUE CUSTOMERS AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WORK HOURS THEY OPERATE!

I would like to advise against considering McCarthy Tire Services for any automobile-related needs. Unfortunately, my previous experience with them was quite disappointing. Initially, they provided me with a quote of $5000 to replace the engine in my Ford Edge Limited. However, upon completion of the job, I was charged $5500 instead. To make matters worse, I discovered that they had installed the incorrect engine and were unwilling to rectify the situation.Regrettably, I failed to learn my lesson from this experience and decided to give them a second chance. Recently, I returned to McCarthy Tire Services to have a clamp on my bumper repaired. Initially, they quoted me a price of $120, but in the end, I had to pay $375.16. It would have been more cost-effective for me to take my car elsewhere and replace the entire bumper. They assured me that they would refund $180.00, but it would take a few business days to process. Taking into account both visits, they overcharged me a total of $755.16. Their business practices are clearly deceitful, and it seems that they are taking advantage of their customers.As a result of these unfortunate experiences, I have made the decision to never return to McCarthy Tire Services, and I strongly advise against entrusting them with any vehicle-related services. You may want to talk with Crystal she is the one who gave the quote. She is very dishonest if she said she didn’t give the quote!

Place is a joke. Charging an hour of labor to read a check engine code. Charging for mysterious parts. Guess they think they can rip off women?Edited: this was my girlfriends car. They were instructed to fix the AC and a part that they knew about from the time it was inspected(they did the inspection). Also an hour of labor to tell her the check engine light is on and it could be one of 4 things? Did a self scan at autozone in 3 minutes and found out what it was. Your guys sat around for 2 days and hustled her. You fixed nothing ?♂️ sorry that the tires you inspected are now magically bald and more expensive than anywhere in town and she didn’t want them.Jokes

Been a loyal customer for many years. McCarthy Tire Winchester replaced my trucks drive shaft U-joints in May. On July 10 the drive shaft failed because the clips were not seated correctly causing serious damage. The shaft wedged in the road lifting the rear and then slamming it back down to the road. Besides the drive train damage, the side dam airbags deployed, seatbelts locked and the fuel tank and exhaust were damaged as well as some suspension part damage. The truck ended up at McCarthy in Manassas and the nightmare begin. It was there 7 1/2 weeks to have the new drive shaft installed, a patch on the fuel tank and a little welding on the exhaust. Clearly it was not a priority to get my truck returned but I was fed plenty of lies I was able to see through. I ended up complaining to corporate and the project moved forward. I should mention there insurance, Federated, did give me a pay out which was not enough to cover all the damage. That war continues. They sent the truck to a collision center for the airbag repair but finding other damage Federated went MIA and so I am paying the difference and figure I will have to go the legal route. It is now October 2 and the truck is still gone and McCarthy shows no sympathy or care. I would recommend getting repairs done somewhere else. They do not stand behind there work and customers are not valued. I have made so many phone calls and emails but Federated Insurance and McCarthy will not step up to get my vehicle back to me.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Thaddeus and his crew are by far the best auto services I have ever used! They go above and beyond for their customers and are the only place I trust to bring my car into. I have come in on at least 3 occasions having issues with my tires and they filled them and checked them without charge. Today I stupidly locked my keys in my car. I called my Hyundai roadside assistance to help and not only was I hung up on once but 3 times. I was practically in tears so I called McCarthys and not only did they come out and help me but they wouldn’t take a single dime from me! McCarthys crew are such a blessing and every single person that works there are so friendly and helpful. I can’t thank y’all enough for your AMAZING customer service and dedication to your customers! ??????

Thaddeus went out of his way to help me after I bought a bad part and almost broke down after I left. I was in a bad spot.He came out to help me even after he should have gone home. He has always been super helpful and keeps this place going. Thanks for being you!

Assistant manager is a person I've known personally nearly 40 years, so I might seem biased, but they're honest and will tell you up front what your vehicle needs. I would suggest if you have something German to look elsewhere, but anything Japanese or domestic, they will take care of you.

Nice folks, fast service. If they find a problem you actually get to talk to the person working on your vehicle, not filtered through a service writer.
