I recently moved to Winchester I’ve been in the Lowe’s store about 4 times. Some of the staff is very helpful but they are far and few between. I was loading heavy bags if wet soil and asked the customer service person to send some help ( particularly I asked for a strapping man) I’m 5’8 very strong female who lifts weights and they sent me an older woman who was over 65 years old . Not impressed . It was shameful to be honest I probably won’t be back. She was extraordinarily kind and physically capable but that wasn’t the point . If you can’t find good people at least learn to delegate heavier tasks to younger folks. I felt like a jerk having her help me with heavy wet bags of dirt :(

I asked where specific paint was located. Paint Employee walked me there and explained the 3 types of concrete paint. I asked about square footage and he knew it and told me.

Pretty good Lowe's. As with many others, the shift to "self checkout" is very disturbing, taking away jobs and NOT GETTING A DISCOUNT for doing the work myself is pure robbery. But, staff is usually helpful.

I have had great customer service at this Lowe’s, until I made a large purchase with a delivery. I purchased an oven for a home I do not live in yet. Weeks in advance, I selected the delivery time 12pm - 4pm. 730pm the night before delivery I received an email from Lowes stating delivery was 7am - 11am. I tried an agent on chat, they couldn’t help. I called the store and they couldn’t help and gave me the number to their delivery contractor. I called them and they couldn’t help. They told me to call back the next day at 6am and speak to the morning shift. I called at 6am and the morning shift said they were not the correct delivery people to call and they gave me another number. I called that number and an automated voicemail told me they opened at 830am Mountain Time (I am on EST). The automated system recognized my number and confirmed delivery would be from 12pm - 4pm. I hung up and received call from a Lowe’s delivery guy saying he was 30 mins out. I live an hour away. I called the manager (Frankie) at the Lowe’s to let him know what happened. It wasn’t going to help me, but I told him maybe he could make it better for the next customer. Had Lowe’s given me the correct delivery number the night before, I could have reached someone on Mountain Time. No excuse or reason for the abrupt delivery change. Clearly they need to get on the same page. No one was able to assist. This was all unnecessary and avoidable. Bummer because I like Lowes.

It’s pretty sad that I went in this store ready to purchase a washer and dryer. We couldn’t get anyone to help us. Stood waiting made eye contact with several people. I got on the phone with the store while at the store trying to get help. Then my husband says I bet If I move the washer someone will come and sure enough 3 people come running our way when he moved the washer. You don’t deserve our money if we have to beg for service. This was the second Lowe’s we went to today and couldn’t get help.

Finding staff to help is quite the chore. Took me 45 minutes and 3 intentionally avoided me. I have impaired vision and really needed help. Ended up only getting a ceiling fan and faucet and had a huge list, so Home Depot got the 5k business and Lowes got 400$ ?♀️

Went inside to get “on line order”. Great experience with the lady at the pickup area. Sorry, can’t remember her name. Store 656, Winchester, Va on Saturday morning, about 10:30 am. Had good conversation with her, and she is certainly an “A Plus” to your staff!Pls share with her and management at that location.
