I visited the store to get an alteration done to my suit jacket. The shoulders were a little wide. The man told me he doesn't do shoulders, that it takes too much effort and would cost about $300. Me, not knowing very much about alterations said okay, and figured I'd just have to deal with a jacket that didn't fit just right for my event coming up in a week. I made a few calls and another tailor happily agreed to make the alteration for $50!!!! It'll be ready in 4 days.

I initially chose LG men's wear because of their reviews, but I'll be staying because of their service. As a family owned business in Winchester I can genuinely say the employees who work there will treat you with the upmost respect and kindness you'd expect from a family run business. As a woman who served in the military, finding a tailor that knows what theyre doing is paramount, but also as a woman who wears more "masculine" attire, finding a place that makes me feel both comfortable and is skilled in their craft is harder than you'd think. However, LGs did just that. I came in with pants, 2 blouses, and a vest requiring tailoring for a wedding I was in, in less than a week, and they delivered! I am very pleased with the tailor job, they were able to fit my form as a woman in mens clothes. Not even to mention their quick turn around and kindness they showed me here, so I will highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I have rented tuxedos from LG Men’s wear for three years now and highly recommend it. They are very friendly and professional. They have the best selection of men’s wear, hands down. Whatever the occasion, they do have what you need and the prices are reasonable.

First and foremost, I own a local business in the area so I understand customer service should always be a highly important facet of an operation — LG did DID not disappoint and exceeded my expectations ten fold.I walked into the store at approx. 5:25, about 30 ish minutes before closing to quickly browse their selection. The young man “Yuri”, hope I spelled that right, got STRAIGHT to work going above and beyond & began fitting me and showing me suits (even though I told him I wanted to browse, I was trying to be mindful of time) he didn’t care about going home late, he fitted me for a coat, shirt, pants and found me a nice tie!!I walked out of there about 15 minutes past 6 with a nearly $700 suit, shirt and tie paid for that I was GLAD to pay given the 10 star customer service. Thanks again Yuri, I appreciate your services yesterday evening, you made the process smooth, easy and stress free!!!In closing, this is a business you should consider supporting versus some of the other big names around here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Great store and the staff is terrific. Owner takes time to help you find what you like and what looks great on you. Prices are very reasonable and in many cases better than the big stores. Much happier here than any big store out there. Been back several times since I bought my suits there a month or so ago for a coat and a nice winter coat. Been looking for this type or experience for a long time.

My husband and his groomsmen bought/rented their suits from LG Men's Wear for our wedding. The staff were very friendly and helpful - everything went as smooth as possible for our big day. The alterations they did were great as well.

I've purchased multiple suits from LG for myself and my son, and rented his prom tux from there. There was a mistake with his tux that we didn't know about until prom night, but when we returned the tux the next day, they were more than apologetic and took care of us very well. Despite this flub (which was made by a young, new employee, and it's forgivable), I'll still go to LG for my suits and tuxes in the future.

This is the ONLY place I would recommend for suit or tuxedo rentals. They take your measurements and fit you in person, and you can actually try on the clothing before making a final selection. Everywhere else I've gone has tried to make us pick out of a catalog without even being able to see or feel the fabric, much less try anything on. They have tons of options available (many different styles and colors of suits and tuxedos, and hundreds of colors and patterns of vests/ties/bowties) and the rental packages are incredibly reasonably priced.The full package, which is basically everything you could ever need (shoes, pants, shirt, jacket, and any accessories are all included) is only $199, which even includes any alterations the tailor needs to make to ensure everything fits perfectly. The owners and staff are all super helpful and friendly, especially compared to the local menswear chains in the area. We will definitely be back!

What an enjoyable experience for my son's tux fitting! Mr Robert was extremely helpful in describing what would be needed for prom and very thoroughly explained the process. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
