I came in, an out-of-stater, to imbibe in that excellent Virginia tobacco that this state is so well known for---deservedly. I recently, having taken up pipe smoking again, was at a loss checking several other stores before dropping in looking for some good pipe tobacco--as well as some direction of what to try. Matthew helped me narrow down my options and offered several excellent options. All of them good, yet the best I tried was the Virginia flake "John's Own". This all to say that not only did Matthew deliver with little information to go on (thanks to me) his store's blend named after the original owner being the best only goes to show the quality of this establishment's taste and excellent service. The locals seated inside smoking cigars were friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. If only I lived locally I certainly would frequent this establishment! It is no surprise that this business is a staple of Winchester in the downtown and deservedly so.

A really nice neighborhood Cigar Bar where you can go and buy a cigar and sit in a big comfortable chair and enjoy great conversation with both locals and travelers.

Gave it only 5 because 6 was not an option.I have bought two pipes here and lots of fabulous hand-crafted blends. This place is SO GOOD that they were able to help my daughter when she came in asking for some tobacco as a Christmas gift.Best of all, they are more than helpful and never condescending to new pipers. They are extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer every question. Highly recommend!

Very pleasant atmosphere, dog friendly, as well as people friendly. Lots of fresh cigars if this is what you're looking for there's a lounge area as well for you to enjoy your freshly purchase cigar.

This is the premier shop of all my numerous affiliated locations that I visit. The proprietor Matthew Hayes is fine outstanding gentleman and a great American and is a multi generational tobacconist. Located in the historic shop space near the downtown walking the mall the space is historically powerful. There are no TVs because Matthew, like I, believe you should have a conversation while smoking... excellent selection good prices incredible service BYOB and outstanding location and a beautiful colonial city... This is the zenith of a smoking experience in my opinion...

Highly recommend and very reasonable. They sell excellent products and can match the product to the event like a fine taylor. Whatever the reason that finds you in the area, I recommend stopping by and seeing how your day could get just that much better.
