I normally use Turbo Tax, but decided to give this dump a try. I discovered that H&R Block forces all clients to separately pay their Federal and State taxes on the IRS website and the state website. H&R doesn’t do it for you like every other tax service!!!! This is extremely inconvenient!!! Also, the software they use doesn’t operate properly. This creates a whole other host of issues. Don’t waste your time!!!!!!

So dissapointed that this group sold out to HR block. There is no longer personalized service, you can’t get in touch with a live person to schedule appts… and when you do schedule, done through automation on the phone, the appts don’t get truly scheduled. An hour and half of my time wasted, just to have to do it again tomorrow when the had an appointment available. May have to find another tax accountant for next year. ?

I gave them 1 star because I can't even get a real person to talk to, to make an appointment. The automated system wasn't even giving me options. Just putting me with who ever when I want someone specific.

This is our second year using Mark Greene for our yearly taxes. The process has been smooth and pain free for us. This year we had some questions that resulted in me being what was most likely very annoying for Mr. Greene, yet he handled the entire situation with patience and answered all my questions thoroughly and in a very professional and honest manner even though I'm sure I was making him contemplate banging his head on his fancy tax calculator in exasperation.
