The Blue Slate sandwich is out of this world!!! This place has amazing food. The only down side is it is 2 hours from my homeUpdate: 3/31/24: I just noticed this was a review for the Greenwood grocery store in crozet. I actually just downgraded them to one star because their quality has gone south.But I still consider this Greenwood store and Deli 5 stars.

Been going to greenwood grocery for a long time for gas food and lottery tickets the last five times I've been there they have tried to overcharge me and I've caught it every time and it's the same two people the young black girl and the tall guy with the mustache real thin and then when I catch the overcharge they get mad today they made the statement well if we keep over charging you why do you keep coming back from here on out they don't have to worry about that won't be back add you purchases up people these two are scamming a dollar here and $2 there and that adds up these days hope the owner of the place see this review and gets a handle on these two because they are definitely scamming the customers

The best, fresh made to order gas station food ever had. Have a vast menu and custom order food. Hot n ready food if you on the go. My choppped steak sandwich was only $3.49!! Opens at 5am every morning. Connivence is a factor. Warm and friendly service. Always. Gas pumps and parking are new and updated. Like to gamble?! There are chance games available in the lobby!

They have the best sausage&egg sandwich It is the only sausage I will eat its not fatty at all , I shop there at least 4 times a week, I love that the store is bright and clean with so much traffic is looks good

I would give zero stars if I could. The old man who works here need to learn how to be nicer. He does not smile and yells. I said hi to him as I came in and he did not acknowledge me at all. And the door does not close itself so he yells at me to close the door because I’m letting all the cool air out…

I'm an out of towner doing natural gas work and I was on my way to the landfill when I decided to stop in and I'm glad I did, I was greeted kindly, Greenwood grocery is operated by friendly people ,I wish where I'm from people were that friendly ,I'm definitely going to stop again and try one of their scrapple egg and cheese sandwiches!

Greenwood Grocery has the best breakfast & lunch in the Tri-State area! Everything is fresh and made right there! You can call ahead or order when you get there and they get it to you quick! Their BBQ is the best I have EVER tasted and their staff is always friendly and helpful!! GO NOW!!!

The people who work the counter are always so friendly and personable. They crank out those killer breakfast sandwiches all morning, and are always in good spirits. Yes, the parking can be a bit haphazard, but that just adds to the charm. Best bet is to pull up along the side and walk in.
