Great beer selection, great food, AWFUL hours. It seems like every time I go there they are closed. Pulled up today 09/27/19 on a Friday at 6:30 and the girl locked the door and turned off the sign when I pulled up to the door. 6:30 on a Friday

This place had great potential a year ago, they used to host live music and tap takeovers as you can see from older reviews. This is just my opinion, but it seems what happened is that they stopped hosting live music here and music started getting hosted at their son's store, Smokey T's. After Smokey T's went out of business, they still haven't hosted any more live music at Throx. They also cut back their business hours so they close at 6:30pm, with those hours it pretty much guarantees they will never have live music here again. Closing at 6:30 on a Monday? Sure, but closing at 6:30pm on Friday doesn't make sense. Wish they'd stay open late 1 night a week and promote music on that night. Really, live events are the heart of a bar. Without live events, you aren't a bar; you're a gas station with draft beer. Without live events, there is significantly less turnover on their rotating draft beer selection. Some of their beer has been on tap for months. One final rant about the food. Last year they used to have staff that could cook a burger rare or medium. The last few times I went, when I asked for medium I was told "we can only serve them well done". That's BS because I've had excellent, juicy medium burgers here several times before. They need to retrain whoever refused to put my order in as a medium cooked burger.

Oh my. They have alot of choices. It isn't going to be fast service. The pastrami sub with provolone is to die for. Boers head deli is top notch. A great selection of beer andnthebpeople behind the counter are friendly. Also has a light so you can get in and out at easily, not to mention gas. Just a fore warning it is boers head meat so it isn't cheap. Great place.

My first impression is it in the gas station no problem had some of my best meals at gas station. so that the Jewel. They have great selection of beers foreign and domestic. Wine and other drinks, snacks, chicken and different panini sandwich. Also the have live music on some nights.

This review is for the terrible excuse of a Dunkin donut store. 830am on a Saturday and they have zero plain bagels.....really?? So I opted for an everything bagel, which was burned so bad that I could barely eat it. Then the coffee was sent out, and that was just as bad. Tasted like it was watered down. The only good thing was the donut, but how could they mess that up since it gets shipped in. Go here for gas and the store only. Don't waste a cent in the Dunkin donut portion.
